We live in a world wounded by profound and ever-growing confusion and injustice. Often, it seems conservative, God-fearing Americans are waging a cultural and spiritual battle defined by occasional victories which are quickly overshadowed by the long, steady retreat.

But retreat is not the same as surrender, which we can never do. We regroup, reorganize and return, again and again to the fray.

Our lives and this world were created for a high and noble purpose, and we must always embrace the profound and uncompromising duty to honor, defend and celebrate that which is objectively good, true and beautiful.

This work begins in our families and works its way out into our houses of worship, our neighborhoods, townships and beyond.

We are not called to create the world, reimagine reality or overcome the natural order, but to see ourselves as the beneficiaries and undying stewards of an immeasurable gift.

For this – come what may – we give thanks to God.
