  • John J Otness says:

Santa a deflection of the true gift of CHRIST….. Jumbled spelling of satan…. the deceiver.

    • Friend of Humanity says:

I was just laughing because that is what my mind read first, “Satan.” I am so done with all this evil stuff!

      • John J Otness says:

But is the evil stuff done with you? Just look around…its real go to Lahaina go to Gaza go to any Dem city…

      • Friend of Humanity says:

Oh no. The evil is not done with me or with all of us until they kill us. But, fear not those who can destroy our bodies because they cannot take our souls that belong to our Heavenly Father.

  • Lucinda says:

Otness: Like FoH and others here, your inability to reason and instead stick with the impossibility of the supernatural is one of many reasons people are leaving Christianity.

  • Coliseum in the Snow says:

Every year I am astonished by the awesome brilliance of Christ -Who came as the Light of the world- since, though many may be clueless as to why we decorate with lights, trim a Christmas tree, give gifts or increase our charitable giving, He knows…He knew…and He still touches hearts with peace, joy, light, hope, and generosity every year when His birthday comes around. We are heartened by the lights, the festive gatherings, generous visits from St. Nicholas (aka, Santa), and opportunities to gather with our loved ones to reflect upon God’s blessings upon our families, our state, our nation, and the world. I am grateful for those who celebrate Christmas, even if they haven’t yet glimpsed the full picture of what it’s all about.

Not actually his birthday, the church moved the date to an early pagan holiday to make it more popular. Just like so many in the church you blindly worship without actually known who or what you’re praying towards.
