The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) no longer wants to follow the CDC recommendations for Covid jabs.

AAP “thinks they know better than any parent or doctor in this country and wants you to bend to their will while they hold your child down and give them whatever pharmaceutical product they choose,” said Louisiana Surgeon General Ralph Abraham.

Almost all parents in America know that giving the Covid jab to kids is a bad idea. Only 13% of U.S. kids are currently being vaccinated as of April 2025.

In most other nations the public health authorities stopped the practice of routinely giving children Covid jabs a few years ago. Even the World Health Organization (WHO) stopped recommending the shot for healthy kids.

Somehow this elitist AAP organization now believes it knows what is best for your children. The AAP has gone so far as to join other medical associations in suing U.S. Health Secretary Robert Kennedy and the CDC over its change in Covid jab recommendations. The AAP recommends the Covid jab for children and pregnant women. Bear in mind, these groups receive funding from Big Pharma; and pediatricians receive some of their money by pushing these shots.

Yes, Big Pharma donates money to the AAP. Doctors also get paid for vaccinating children. The more children that are vaccinated, the more the money flows to the doctors.

The AAP is known for being out of step with the rest of society. In 2023, its board voted unanimously to recommend transition therapy for “transgender” kids. This is a rather life-altering decision that the child may come to regret.

Transitioning back to their God given gender is not easy and often leaves them traumatized.

This occurred at the same time when the AAP told pediatricians to ask young children questions about their sexuality.

I have a friend who took their 11-year-old son to an Air Force pediatrician for his annual health checkup. The pediatrician asked the mother to leave the room – she left the exam room because she thought the doctor was going to ask the boy about his home life.

On the way home in the car, the friend asked her son what the doctor asked him when she was out of the room. Are you ready for this? Here are the three questions the pediatrician asked of an 11-year-old:

Do you identify as a boy, a girl, or don’t you know?

Are you attracted to boys, girls, or don’t you know?

Have you had sex?

When the father of the child questioned the head of pediatrics about this line of questioning, the pediatrician responded that if these specific questions led to the child asking more about these subjects, then “he had done his job.” 

Let me get this straight. A child can’t vote, an 11-year-old can’t legally smoke, can’t get a tattoo until 14, but the child can change his/her gender? And somehow an 11-year-old needs that information now?

When you think it can’t get any worse, the AAP has also stated religious vaccine exemptions should be outlawed.

Obviously, the AAP believes it knows better than parents on what your child needs.

Why are they so adamant? Could it be they have looked at scientific data unavailable to the CDC? Could it be they truly believe they know better than the CDC about what immunizations your child needs?

Or should we just look at the old “follow the money”?
