With Alaska’s churches locked and darkened this Easter, and many struggling to find joy and hope, we want to share two short videos which are among the most renowned and moving sermons in recent American history.
Delivered by the late Rev. S.M. Lockridge, pastor of a prominent African American church in San Diego, the first sermon powerfully illustrates that suffering, loneliness and even death do not have the final say. The second – “That’s my King” – affirms the hope of humanity. Enjoy these, and share them with those who need a ray of light this Easter weekend.
