Dan Fagan, one of the most popular Alaska conservative talk radio hosts has announced that he’s ending his 18-month “retirement” to reenter the cultural and political fray.
“Retirement ain’t all that,” Fagan posted to his Facebook page on Aug. 13. “It’s been 18 months since I walked away from the microphone – believing at the time – I was done for good. But how much golf can one man really play?”
Fagan posted the now iconic image of Trump raising his fist in defiance after the July 13 assassination attempt on his life.
“On Monday, I’m jumping back into the battle, ready to fight, fight, fight, as our next president has called us to do,” Fagan wrote. “Let’s do this!”
Most recently, he hosted the Dan Fagan Show on 650 KENI – a four-year run that included live interviews, and much cultural and political pontification. Unlike many radio shows, Fagan took on the many of the most hot-button issues, and held leading politicians’ feet to the fire, even when it meant they would no longer come on his show.
Prior to that, Fagan was a conservative columnist for the Anchorage Daily News, ran the Alaska Standard and hosted a separate radio show on KFQD.

Prior to his recent retirement, he split his time between Alaska and New Orleans where he cared for his ailing mother.
Fagan’s new show will air 7-9 a.m. on KVNT 92.5 FM in Eagle River, 104.5 FM in Anchorage, 1020 AM in the Mat-Su Valley and streamed globally on 1020KVNT.com.

Dan Fagan and his “dunleavy derangement syndrome “ has been dearly missed! Damboskis and the chalkboard scratch to be silenced!
Don’t forget that he spawned the original Palin Derangement Syndrome. A regular Typhoid Mary with that disease.
I always liked Dan and listened to him whenever I could. I hope he doesn’t make any predictions this time, as it seems to devastate him when they don’t pan out.
