There’s no telling the last time 5,000-plus Alaskans stood outside to hear the words of Jesus Christ read from The Good Book, but it happened on Sept. 1 when folk-country sensation Oliver Anthony packed the Alaska State Fair for a concert that was part rockabilly, protest and revival. It struck a deep chord with the enthusiastic blue-collar crowd that seemed ready to push back on crazy world which seems hellbent on destroying the traditions and beliefs that once defined America.
Anthony clearly enjoyed his first foray into Alaska’s concert scene, as fans sang along to his songs that have become protest anthems for working-class Americans who feel ground down by powerful leftist elites, and a growing realization that common sense and faith in God are under coordinated attack.
At one point, Anthony pulled out a large Bible and read from the Gospel of Matthew, in which Jesus warns against false prophets, the spread of wickedness and coming persecution for those who remain faithful amid a faithless world.
He concluded with his record-shattering Billboard sensation, “Rich Men North of Richmond,” with the crowd singing along to every word.
Below are a few photos from the concert. See more photos and videos here.

I would have love to hear the crowd singing to his song at the end. Very good song!
I really do like that dude!!!!
utterly unfair we should have to belong on Facebunk to get your video report!
He should post it on X!
“ground down by powerful leftist elites” Not just the left but the uniparty in DC that is sticking it to the common folk out here in America. I don’t blame just the left but also the those on the right who think we are here to enrich them. Murkowski is one of them who think we should bow down to them and only praise them. We in Alaska have a better chance of leaving them behind and returning to a simpler and more devout life but must work to only elect those who will get the government out of the way.
great idea! how the hell do you propose that realistically happens?
