In what is turning into a summer-long public spectacle of alternative sexuality, Fairbanks Borough Mayor Grier Hopkins has agreed to headline the next LGBTQ revelry in Alaska’s “Golden Heart City.”
While Pride Month is typically reserved for June, LGBTQ activists have been working to expand the promotion of their controversial agenda throughout the summer, and even across the calendar year.
In the latest “all-ages” promotion of homosexuality and gender-bending identity, Mayor Hopkins will be the feature draw for the “Dunk the Mayor” booth during the July 26 Pride Fest in Fairbank’s Ester Park.
The event aims to celebrate what promoters call “queer joy,” with number of activities that will most certainly appeal to youth and children, such as the Forget-Me-Not Animal Rescue booth where attendees can “cuddle some cuties.”
Additionally, there will also be cross-dressing drag queens performing for all-ages, along with a photobooth where anyone can pose in gender-bending attire.
“From games to music to cuddly animals, there’s something for everyone,” a notice for the event states. “Free yard games, crafts, facepainting and activities happening all day ~ some activities even lead by our fabulous community partners!”
Those partners include a gay choir group, several drag queens, including one named “3 Chord Ho,” and a smattering of climate alarmists, anti-colonialists and youth organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters of Alaska. (See the full list below.)
“Come celebrate queer joy, resilience, and community with incredible local artists, makers, performers and orgs who help make Interior Alaska a little more fabulous every day,” the promotional states. “Free and all ages! Bring your friends, fam, your flags, and your full, fabulous self.”
The flyer does contain one condition, however.
“Our only requirement for attending Pridefest is that you treat everyone with kindness and respect,” it states.
Whether that means organizers will prohibit people from respectfully sharing alternative views, including the widespread belief that people are born either male or female, remains to be seen.

Try as you will, putting on a fair wont change the fact this is all based on perversion, not any kind of love. thats just thier way of making it palatable. Real friends would help them navigate out of the perverted lifestyle, not accept it as normal.
If homosexuality were so wonderful, they probably wouldn’t have to keep telling us that. I’m not sure who they are trying to convince. Most of us see this for what it is: recruitment. Homosexuality is part of the culture of death, because it cannot be life-giving. They can only increase by convincing others to join. Pretending to be ecstatic while pretending to be something you are not does not offer a fulfilling life, and does nothing good for society at large.
