On Sunday, Jan. 25, Lazy Mountain Bible Church in Palmer is hosting a free showing of “The 1916 Project,” a groundbreaking documentary film that pulls back the curtain and exposes the hidden history of the secular moral revolution, while equipping the church to understand the times, resist evil and rebuild a culture of life.
Seth Gruber, a prominent national pro-life advocate is featured in the film. In 2022, he founded The White Rose Resistance, a national voice for life that aims to awakening the church’s pro-life response. “The 1916 Project” seeks to further inspire American churches to embrace their pivotal role in today’s culture war.
This past December Gruber spoke during a Turning Point USA gathering in Anchorage. Organizers of the upcoming Mat-Su event are hoping to start a White Rose chapter in Alaska later this year.
Those interested in attending the event and finding out more about the project are invited to the Jan. 25 film showing. Doors open at 2:30 p.m. at Lazy mountain Bible Church in Palmer (16005 E. Shawn Drive). For more information, click here.
