On June 23, a Bethel Grand Jury returned an indictment charging former Chevak mayor Ulric Jeffrey Ulroan with 47 counts related to allegations that he sexually assaulted and/or abused various teenage girls between 2009 and 2025 in Chevak, Anchorage, Mountain
