    Mat-Su to hold Memorial Day ceremony in Wasilla at 1 p.m.

    The AmVets Post 9 in Wasilla will host a Memorial Day wreath-laying ceremony at the Veterans Wall of Honor (off Wasilla Fishhook Road) beginning at 1 p.m.

    The gathering will include bleacher seating for attendees as well as a live broadcast on 98.7 FM, Big Cabbage Radio, for those who wish to listen from inside their vehicles.

    Wreaths and flowers can either be placed on the hood of vehicles or placed at the Wall when attendees are called upon.

    According to a announcement from the AmVets, there will be many dignitaries in attendance to “honor our missing and fallen – Lest we forget.”
