Sen. Dan Sullivan, Rep. Don Young, Gov. Mike Dunleavy and others are scheduled to be on hand for the May 6 “Get out the Vote” rally in Eagle River. The aim is to inspire area residents to turn in their ballots to elect Dave Bronson as the next mayor of Anchorage.
Bronson is currently in a runoff election against hard-leftist Forrest Dunbar.
Since neither man was able to win 45% of the vote in the recent April election, a two-way run off is underway to decide the winner. Voters have until May 11 to turn in their ballots.
The election is expected to come down to the wire. In the initial April 6 election, Bronson earned 24,567 votes (33%) to Dunbar’s 23,054 votes (31%).
Now that the other 13 candidates have been eliminated from the field, the race could come down to a difference of a few hundred votes.
The upcoming rally kicks off at 5 p.m. at the Eagle River Lions Club (18344 Eagle River Road).

Voters can drop their ballots off at drop boxes or they can vote in-person at three separate vote centers (Anchorage City Hall, Eagle River Town Center, or the Loussac Library).

The universe might like to see the bike plan book burning ceremony at some point. Praise to God the leaves are not guilded in gold. Think it over.
I suppose Lisa will be at that other guys bidenesk rally
Our prayers from Fairbanks are with Bronson. All of us in the state are impacted by what happens in Anchorage. We need some leadership there with integrity and willing to honor our US Constitution and Declaration and the Rule of Law period. He needs to be honest and not narcissistic. (Note: ranked choice voting stinks and is still illegal if that was used for this race). Our courts should have stopped ranked choice that was brought up by Fairbanks’ traitorous Representative Adam Wool, from California at the bidding of the gangsters currently running controlling D.C.
Dems forget the $15,000 fine to someone doing business and later insults and threats of $25,000. Inappropriate, bad business practices. Anyone who doesn’t vote for Dave has got to be crazy.
