The Alaska Policy Forum announced the addition of a new Alaska Legislative Vote Tracker to its website. The online tool will allow Alaskans to easily access and track the votes of state legislators.

Alaskans can enter a bill number online and, with one click, see how all legislators voted. The system contains all bills which received floor votes this year in either the Alaska House or Senate. Additionally, users can click on legislator names to see more detailed information such as bills sponsored, committee assignments, and all recorded votes.

“An essential part of protecting and maintaining freedom includes staying educated and informed, and our new online Alaska Legislative Vote Tracker makes it easy for Alaskans to do so,” said Alaska Policy Forum Communications Manager Cassandra Day.

A notice about the new tool notes that other programs with legislative information are often difficult to use, requiring passcodes and profiles.

“APF’s new tool is easy to access and incredibly user-friendly,” the notice states. “It allows users to search by bill number, name, or key word, and always has the most accurate voting records as provided by the Alaska Legislature.”

The aim of the new tool is to increase government transparency for Alaska residents.

Alaska Policy Forum is a nonprofit, nonpartisan think tank dedicated to empowering and educating Alaskans and policymakers by promoting policies that promote freedom. freedom for all.
