A newly released study found Alaska to be the second most patriotic state in the union. Conducted by WalletHub.com, the study looks at how patriotism has held up amid a year filled with riots, protests, COVID lockdowns and more.
It compared states across 13 key indicators of patriotism.
“Our data set ranges from the state’s military enlistees and veterans to the share of adults who voted in the 2020 presidential election to AmeriCorps volunteers per capita,” the WalletHub website states.
Alaska is second only to Montana in overall patriotism, according to the study. When it comes to military engagement, however, no state is better than the Last Frontier.
Alaska is second only to Georgia in terms of average number of military enlistees, and it is number one when it comes to military veterans per capita.
Alaska is also the fifth best state in terms of volunteerism.

Alaskans despite all their big talk being Independent and rebellious are really a lot more Conservative minded following bible traditions of great grandparents than they admit.
If we were then the thieves in Juneau that steal our payment called the PFD for. our mineral rights would be in jail… not yet but the tide is turning and we will remember all.
The distraction from DOMINION is all the Communist Chinese have to accomplish because if we were anywhere near a Patriotic State the Patriots would not have allowed DOMINION in our State,,, But as it is JOE Blow waving a flag gives us a second place finish,,, such Bullshit,,, The Commies stole your vote and stole your identity courtesy Lt Gov Meyer through the treasonous purchase of the bastard dominion machines ,,, and most of you cant even remember to flush the toilet we are so screwed….
This survey has Florida at #49, Vermont above Wyoming, Hawaii #23 and Maryland at #3 (borders DC). I’d love to know what their metrics were.
Alaskans are more patriotic toward their RAINBOW flag than they are toward their state.
