Between 25 and 40 million people are victims of human trafficking across the globe. This includes millions of children who are enslaved in sex trafficking.
On July 30 the Alaska Watchman attended a rally in downtown Wasilla that aimed to raise awareness about how to fight human trafficking locally, especially child sex trafficking.
In this interview, rally organizer Lacey Libbey talks about some of the challenges facing Alaska. In particular the gathering aimed to raise support for My House, a nonprofit that serves Alaskans ages 14 to 24 who are at risk due to homelessness. This population is among the most vulnerable to human trafficking.

Defund Office of Children Services and Child Protective Services, and our corrupt court system,Then. They are the leading culprits for child trafficking.
Think 10x before mandatory reporting your family member and neighbor for what you call child neglect, abuse, and endangerment to police who then turn over the child to OCS/CPS and the court systems. YOU are more likely the neighbor they need to assist them change their behavior through Christ even if You volunteer your time to regular babysit their child, so the parent is blessed stressed and the child has a bigger community other than their dysfunctional parent.
*(not) stressed being the only one alone with a growing child
Fixable- start dirt napping Russians and eastern Europeans in the valley. They brought their “old world” ways of making a living with them.
Sick people the traffickers and the abusers
Don’t believe this stuff and if it does happen, where are the parents and why aren’t they being held accountable or prosecuted? Just another wild sick conspiracy that’s not true.
