Newly elected Anchorage Mayor Suzanne LaFrance is meeting with some of the most radical far-left organizations in the state to strategize how to impose their shared agenda on the city.

This mission will be made easier thanks to the far-left supermajority on the Anchorage Assembly, which shares LaFrance’s political aims.

For two hours on July 22, LaFrance collaborated with Umoja Coworking and the NAACP Anchorage Branch for an in person and virtual meeting focused on pushing diversity, equity and inclusion goals as well l as initiatives that align with the BIPOC agenda, which is heavily influenced by the Black Live Matter movement.

These groups, and their allies, are also pivotal players in the quest to advance the most radical elements of the LGBTQ agenda in Alaska. They support Pride parades, transgenderism, drag queen story hours, DEI hiring practices and the notion that America is a fundamentally racist nation.

“We will meet the mayor, find out her goals for her administration and share ideas and areas of need as it pertains to BIPOC and other underrepresented communities,” a notice about the meeting states. “Our goal is to have our voices heard, create solutions and ensure representation and relationships.”

On July 20, just two days before meeting with Mayor LaFrance, the NAACP Anchorage Chapter hosted a town hall with new Anchorage Police Chief Sean Case, who was recently appointed by LaFrance.

Native Movement, which seeks to weave leftist political and cultural aims into traditional Alaska Native culture, helped to mobilze turnout for the mayoral meeting, which occurred just days before Native Movement kicks off a week-long political action training session in Nome, deploying political activists to train participants in how to use blockades, “resistant arts,” and media tactics to advance various leftist causes throughout rural Alaska. Workshops include sessions on how to occupy public spaces by “using technical tools and our own bodies with a focus on developing skills that will be useful in many environments.” Another offers instruction on how to use banners, “performative intervention” and other schemes for political ends. Participants will also learn how to utilize the media to frame their messages for maximum effectiveness.

I’m not a sick prison rehabilitate person walking the streets! You people in Anchorage, Fairbanks, Juneau and others need to wake up before you install such crap. it’s not equal for us all. It’s all about a sick group that needs professional help. Think of that!

What was the voter turnout in Anchorage in the last election?

  • Steven Chappell says:

Anything they try and implement I will not adhere too. Try and push something on me and you will feel the wrath.

So glad I left that endless hellscape.

No one will escape the new Marxism, Alaska will continue to have unfair elections.

It is hard to say that what you said is not true. Seeing Dunleavy sitting close to President Trump and shaking his hand made me just pray that Dunleavy has been sitting on his hands doing very little because Alaskans need to wake up. Whew. Going to be interesting to see what November brings. We even have to vote for our president using RCV this time around. That is such a crock.

Don’t you just hate when the mayor meets with groups that aren’t far right radicals? Let’s start the recall petitions!

  • Sheb says:

Anchorage is one of the most diverse cities in the US. Why shouldnt the mayor take into account the needs of the BIPOC population?

    • I Human says:

      It is racism.

What this implies is that the BIPOC community doesn’t have what it takes to survive in its own without some kind if intervention. They are saying that since they are not White, they are doomed to fail, unless government steps in to help.

The BIPOC community segregated themselves from the rest of Americans by adopting an identity and ideology that seems to perpetuate itself as some sort of victim.

    RIP Anchorage.
