ACLU of Alaska Director Mara Kimmel

While most Alaskans are busy celebrating the historic victory of the once and future President Donald Trump, a number of deeply disturbed leaders on the far-left are expressing outrage and fear that the cultural red wave will spur unprecedented discrimination while undermining abortion, the LGBTQ agenda, voting rights, prisoner safety and much, much more.

Mara Kimmel, who heads up the radical, left-leaning ACLU of Alaska, posted an ominous message to her supporters on Nov. 6.

“The outcome of this election represents unprecedented change for our country’s democratic processes and institutions – in Alaska and beyond,” she warned. “In these times, the rights and liberties of Alaskans, including of women, immigrants, the LGBTQIA2S+ community, and others, are imperiled.”

The ACLU of Alaska regularly files lawsuits to promote abortion, the LGBTQ agenda and sexualized school library books. Kimmel said her organization is committed to “stay true to our principles” and continue fighting to “ensure that democracy prevails.”

This is the sort of rhetoric that inspired the founders of a national group called “Conservaphobia,” an organization that aims to dispel unfounded assertions by mainstream and social media that conservatives are somehow a threat to society.

“The goal of this organization is to bring awareness that most conservatives are good people,” the Conservaphobia website states. “We’re just like you. Just because we don’t share all of the same beliefs as liberals it doesn’t make us all racist, homophobic hate-mongers.”

That does not appear to be the view of Vincent Feuilles, president of the Alaska-based Queen’s Guard group.

Feuilles is a biological female who now claims to be a man. Under his leadership, the Queen’s Guard has pushed to normalize LGBTQ sexuality among Alaska’s children and teens.

“As a transgender man, I deeply feel the concerns of my LGBTQIA2S+ siblings and niblings during this uncertain time,” Feuilles warned in a Nov. 6 post. “The fear and uncertainty are palpable. What will our city, state, and country become? Will our community and our youth survive?”

He added: “Many are considering following through on their exit plans to leave the country, and I understand and support their choices. We all seek what is best for our loved ones and ourselves.”

Feuilles goes on to foment fear that traditional family values will be “weaponized against us by those who feel threatened by our existence, using ‘family values’ to undermine our rights and, at times, our lives.”

“How will we survive?” Feuilles opined. “While I don’t know the future, I know this: We survive by working together, standing beside and sometimes in front of each other … We build resilience in our youth by continuing forward.”

The head of Anchorage’s transgender clinic, Identity, expressed similar phobias of cultural conservatives.
In a Nov. 6 post titled, “Disappointment and Defiance,” Identity Executive Director Tom Pittman suggested that the freedom to “live openly and authentically” is in great peril now that conservatives enjoy power.

“Today, those hard-won gains are under renewed attack as policies threaten to unravel our progress,” he alleged. “These aren’t abstract debates—they affect our safety, our health, and our fundamental ability to be seen and heard.”

Identity operates a clinic that peddles cross-sex hormones to gender-confused youth, while encouraging others to consider undergoing irreversible surgeries that include breast amputations and controversial genital reconstruction.

“Whatever the next four years may bring, the 1,400 patients who come to Identity – and the thousands of other LGBTQIA2S+ people and loved ones across Alaska – can count on us,” Pittman wrote. “If you’re feeling a mix of emotions right now – anger, determination, frustration, exhaustion, or maybe just uncertainty – you’re not alone. I feel it too, and every one of those feelings is valid.”

Pittman ended the post by urging his LGBTQ coalition to channel their frustration by doubling down on local community activism.

As for those who are most traumatized by Trump’s victory, he suggested they find a mental health professional. “If you’re feeling overwhelmed, please consider speaking with a counselor or therapist trained in queer cultural competence,” he wrote.

Just contiue praying for God to prevail over evil.

Just fear mongering from radical fringe. More than likely the real fear is losing free money for their nonprofits which leads to the panicky though of having to find a real job and go to work producing, instead of leaching.

Oh my. If you thrive on drama and attention, “these times” are for you. If feelings are all you have to guide you, someone, or many, have failed you. There’s more to life than sex and body parts. It may be traumatizing to look that reality in the eye, but there it is. Once you get over the trauma, you may be pleased to discover that a life well lived, grounded in reality and open to the personal demands of objective truth, is truly satisfying and a deeply fulfilling.
