President Trump’s nominee to oversee the U.S. Health Department, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., is expected to undergo a contentious hearing process in the U.S. Senate this week, one which will likely require Republicans to unify around the man Trump has tapped to run the $2 trillion, 80,000-employee federal health system.
Few GOP senators are under a brighter national spotlight than Alaska’s Lisa Murkowski.
For decades, Kennedy has been an outspoken critic against pharmaceutical giants, agriculture practices, chemical industries and a number of vaccines. Trump has tapped him to fight America’s chronic disease epidemic by strengthening safety protocols on a host of drugs and vaccines, while overhauling regulatory bodies that oversee U.S. agricultural practices.
Kennedy was also a vocal critic of the way experimental Covid shots were hastily approved and rolled out – leading to severe adverse reactions and even death for many Americans.
While Murkowski flies under the Republican banner, she is seen as a possible “no” vote on Kennedy’s nomination. Given the GOP’s narrow majority in the U.S. Senate and Murkowski’s vote against Trump’s nominee to lead the Department of Defense, Pete Hegseth, her vote is being closely watched from both sides of the political isle.
Last week Murkowski joined all Senate Democrats in a failed attempt to derail Hegseth, who was approved 51-50 after Vice President JD Vance cast the tie-breaking vote. Murkowski, Mitch McConnell of Kentucky and Susan Collins of Maine were the only Republicans to vote no.

Democrats are expected to wage a contentious war against Kennedy during this week’s confirmation hearings, and he can only afford to lose the backing of three Republicans if Democrats remain united in their opposition.
Murkowski has said she has concerns about Kennedy’s stances regarding vaccines, and plans to use the hearings to “drill down on and try to get some public commitments from him.”
If confirmed, Kennedy would oversee the National Institutes of Health, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Food and Drug Administration.
In an effort get Kennedy across the finish line, a grassroots group of Alaskans have organized in support of his nomination. They are urging Murkowski to support a man who is deeply committed to advocating for the vaccine-injured community, which has struggled to receive any level of recognition or care from the government or medical establishment.
“We have a renewed hope, with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. potentially becoming the USA’s next HHS Secretary, but he needs your help,” a recent call-to-action notice from Alaskans4personal Freedom organizer Linda Boyle stated. “There is an extreme amount of pushback being leveled in the Halls of Washington ahead of his confirmation hearings and vote.”
Boyle and others from the vaccine-injured community maintain that it is time to break the cozy relationship between the federal government and Big Pharma.
“Do you believe your children and grandchildren deserve healthier food?” she wrote. “Then you can help support the confirmation of RFK Jr. to be our next secretary of the Department of Health & Human Services.”
The campaign by Alaskans4Personal Freedom coincides with a recent national interview on BrokenTruth.tv, in which Rob Forbes, an Alaskan family man, shared his harrowing experience with vaccine injury following his first dose of the Pfizer vaccine in March 2021.
In the wake of his harrowing journey, Forbes is pushing for a more transparent discussion about vaccine injuries. During the interview, he urged Murkowski to support Kennedy’s nomination, claiming Kennedy’s health-focused policies align with Alaskan values by “prioritizing public health over political gain.”
TAKING ACTION
Those who wish to contact Sen. Murkowski regarding Kennedy’s nomination, can call the senator’s Anchorage office at (907) 271-3735. The D.C number is (202)-224-6665. Callers are advised to keep the messages short, with a simple request that, as Alaskans, they respectfully request a “YES” to confirm Robert F. Kennedy Jr, as the next HHS secretary.
“He has the experience to deliver on President Trump’s mandate to Make America Healthy Again,” Boyle added. “Kennedy’s courage to challenge powerful corporate interests demonstrates his independence. He will deliver the essential reforms needed to fix our badly broken health agencies.”

Why can’t republicans offer a qualified nominee. Why does everything they do a circus? I know the answer. Do you?
I do, because democrats make it a circus.
Wrong answer Matt
When Jeff writes “qualified” what HE means is an administrative-state lackey who embodies regulatory capture by industry whom at their core is merely a power whore.
No, that’s NOT what I meant. How about the Republicans find a nominee who knows the difference between Medicare and Medicaid and doesn’t lie. Is that so hard?
Seriously, out of 330 million Americans, conservatives can’t find someone who has experience, doesn’t lie and has never driven a car with the head of a whale on top?
Think! Gotta be one out there.
Because we’re sick of the ineptitude of the status quo and are looking for statesmen to represent us, rather than career politicians.
Are you supportive of these onesies, Jeff?
When writing to Murkowski, Steve Wiseman in Fairbanks suggests that we remind Murkowski that WE ARE HER BOSSES! She works for Alaskans not the DC Swamp….For “WE THE PEOPLE”. Stay in prayer on this. We need RFK,Jr
Did you vote for her?
So does anyone know the last time Lisa Murkowski voted for anything republic? I don’t and I pertty well would guess non of you do either! Murkowski needs to go! That’s my battle cry! She is republican by name only. RINO is more fitting!
While I agree she needs to go she did provide a grant of 5 million to the upper susitna seniors to build more housing. Sadly I don’t think they will meet the requirements to utilize that grant money.
And Murkowski knew they wouldn’t qualify. Just playing the game.
She didn’t provide the grant, us tax payers did. She’s just the pork barreler that continues to suck our hard earned wages out of our pockets so she can look good to those that don’t see the difference.
If ANY of Trump’s nominees is more deserving of rejection, it’s RFK Jr. The guy is absolutely loony tunes.
Don’t hold your breath expecting Lisa to vote for RFK jr. Lisa doesn’t represent us, who are we trying to fool? She represent big Washington DC money. All she has to do is continue her behavior, and bring money back to the villages and she’s assured to remain in the Senate. She’s learned everything she know about politics from Mitch McConnell and Ted Stevens.
Is Lisa Murkowski a republican or democrat?
Democrat BIG TIME! Time for a change.
She’s a moderate Republican. She is not part of the MAGA cult. She’s not going to kiss Donald Trump’s ring.
Lisa not a moderate Republican, that’s a myth. Lisa is a Murkowski; dishonest, evasive, and a cheat… just like her Daddy.
She is a straight up Marxist Paul and so are you. You keep flapping this crap on must read also.

The Suicide Sisters will Vote hand in hand together! Don’t expect a positive vote from Collins or Murky on most of Trump’s picks
“Contacting” Senator Murkowski on this subject or any other, is a lost cause and a waste of time. She only responds if the constituent suits her twisted positions. I learned that long ago with her. She just needs to join the democrat party and get it over with. We all know that she’s not a REAL Republican; and therefore, cannot be trusted to represent our interests.
Don’t get why we are to respectfully ASK our employee Murkowski to vote Yes. As her employer we must tell her. That is how the employer-employee relationship works. If the employee can or will not deliver we then strive to replace that employee with another who will follow our instruction. We then contact HR and have a do not re-hire slip put in the replaced employee’s file. Easy peezee, problem gone. How brainwashed have these clowns managed to make us??? Come on fellow Alaskans, let’s grab those reins and take our control back. It is up to us and only us. We don’t want our youth growing up believing they are sheep like many of us have been led to believe. Chop Chop
Now that Susan Collins had endorsed RFK jr that leaves Lisa more isolated than ever. At this point I hope she says NO to RFK jr., that would mean Elon Musk and Nicole Shanahan will support Lisa’s next Republican opponent!
