The U.S. Attorney’s Office, District of Alaska announced, on May 8, the results of Operation Restore Justice, a coordinated enforcement effort to identify, track and arrest child sex predators.

The operation resulted in the rescue of 115 children and the arrests of 205 child sexual abuse offenders across the U.S., including three men from Alaska.

The coordinated effort was executed over the course of five days by all 55 FBI field offices, the Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section in the Department’s Criminal Division, and United States Attorney’s Offices around the country.

“This joint initiative underscores the unwavering commitment of our law enforcement partners to find alleged child predators and protect children from exploitation and lasting harm,” said U.S. Attorney Michael J. Heyman for the District of Alaska. “I want to thank the FBI Anchorage Field Office, and our law enforcement partners statewide for their dedicated efforts in safeguarding Alaska’s children – one of our most vital and vulnerable populations.”

The Anchorage office’s Special Agent in Charge Rebecca Day said the collaborative effort was designed to track down child exploiters regardless of where they live.

“Protecting our children is one of the highest callings in law enforcement,” she said. “I commend the outstanding work by members of the FBI’s Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force, as well as our law enforcement partners across Alaska, in their commitment to fostering safer communities for our children.”

As a result of the operation, the following individuals are now facing charges alleged through three separate indictments in the District of Alaska:

U.S. v. Herra:

Jonathan Herra, 25, of Kenai, was arrested at his mother’s residence in Kenai on April 24 for allegedly purchasing child sexual abuse material (CSAM) from an online platform. Herra is charged with one count of sexual attempted receipt of child pornography, one count of access with intent to view child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography. If convicted, he faces between 5-20 years in prison.

U.S. v. Nungasak:

Donovan Nungasak, 31, of Utqiagvik, was arrested at his residence on April 28 for allegedly producing and possessing child pornography. In August 2024, the FBI received a tip suggesting that Nungasak had CSAM on his phone. The tip prompted an investigation that revealed Nungasak allegedly had sexually explicit conversations with a minor victim on a digital messaging application. Law enforcement also found 27 images on Nungasak’s phone that appeared to depict prepubescent victims. Nungasak is charged with one count of production or attempted production of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography. If convicted, he faces between 15-30 years in prison.

U.S. v. Seward:

Kristian Seward, 30, of Anchorage, was arrested in California on April 28, 2025, for allegedly receiving and possessing child pornography. On June 21, 2024, Seward allegedly received and attempted to receive CSAM using a digital device. Between June 21, 2024, and Oct. 8, 2024, Seward also possessed and attempted to possess CSAM using a digital device. He is charged with one count of receipt of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography. If convicted, he faces between 15-40 years in prison.

Operation Restore Justice was led by the FBI Anchorage Field Office, with substantial assistance from the Anchorage Police Department, as part of the FBI’s Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force. Operational assistance was provided by the Alaska State Troopers, North Slope Borough Police Department and Kenai Police Department in conducting the arrests. These cases are being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Ainsley McNerney, Mac Caille Petursson and Carly Vosacek.

Others arrested around the country are alleged to have committed various crimes including the production, distribution, and possession of child sexual abuse material, online enticement and transportation of minors, and child sex trafficking.

In many cases, parental vigilance and community outreach efforts played a critical role in bringing these offenders to justice. For example, a California man was arrested about eight hours after a young victim bravely came forward and disclosed their abuse to FBI agents,

The Department partners with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), which receives and shares tips about possible child sexual exploitation received through its 24/7 hotline at 1-800-THE-LOST and on missingkids.org. The Department urges the public to remain vigilant and report suspected exploitation of a child through the FBI’s tipline at 1-800-CALL-FBI (225-5324), tips.fbi.gov, or by calling your local FBI field office.

Good Job to the FBI, but you need to get the illegals out of the state of Alaska so don’t stop now. Keep going and its long overdue to clean this state of bad actors with illegal entry to the US. Look to culture communities and churches that would be hiding the illegals. Good job to the FBI and their cleanup process. Keep it going!

Google pay 500$ per hour my last pay check was $19840 working 10 hours a week online. My younger brother friend has been averaging 22k for months now and he works about 24 hours a week. I cant believe how easy it was once I tried it out.

To note the obvious, this country wide cleanup was done by a federal entity. Tired of Alaskans bitching about federal overreach.

The FBI is finally, once again, doing what it is supposed to be doing rather than investigating abortion protestors, people who attend Catholic churches and angry parents at school board meetings. It has taken a Trump Administration re-ordering to make this happen and it is long overdue.

I love this coverage of the biggest problem in the country at this time – it gives us a clue of what IS NOT being done to save the children in Anchorage. There’s Herra, hiding out at mommy’s place, Nungasak, hiding out in Utqiagvik (wow, that was a long way to go – was he drinking adrenochrome?), and then the California boy (a free plane ride to sun country bc chemtrails shut out the sun in Alaska). So Alaska law enforcement is on the job, catching 3 of the 3 million + pedophiles. Yay. Why go so far when the big fish are right in Anchorage, right under your noses: judges, lawyers, police, FBI, CIA, CPS, and many more, all working together to grow the business of child trafficking without being hampered. It’s a convenient arrangement bc they cannot report one another. They go after small fry scattered here and there, so they can report what a crack job they’re doing, keeping the public happy. while continuing their criminal activities. It’s the same in DC. We have Blondie and Kash, doing nothing. They are protecting the guilty until the witnesses are out of the way, ie, Virginia Giuffries (yes, when I want to commit suicide I will torture and beat myself to a pulp). While waiting for the witnesses to go away, these two law enforcement officers fill their time with Fox News appearances and going after the Tezla terrorists or an occasional MS13 gang boy.
This is why small fry nothings are being arrested, both in DC and here. They came up with the idea to leave town to make insignificant seizures. The arrests need to start at the top. Some of those sealed indictments are for Alaska and I am reminded of the 1963 hit, Our Day Will Come , by Ruby and the Romantics. I hum it everyday. waiting.
Re federal overreach, it doesn’t necessarily have to be all or nothing. If it’s wrong, complain whether it’s state or federal. The state should be taking care of child porn, trafficking, abuse, etc, but they do little. Remember Amber alerts? What happened to those? I don’t disagree with it in the case of child trafficking because the locals aren’t doing their jobs, but I do disagree with the Real ID fed overreach, it is a violation of our 10 amendment right; the feds cannot order the states to get a Real ID. The states are in charge of that. It’s important to know that the feds (KRISTI NOEM) lied to us and said we need it to fly. No we don’t. She’s confused – probably brain- poisoned by all that glue that holds her false eyelashes on. It is a SYSTEM to take over our lives in time for AGENDA 2030. They’re soft-peddling it now, but Alaskans went running for the DMV when they got Kristi’s message. When Kristi’s purse was stolen at the DC burger joint on Easter Sunday in front of her 4 Secret Service watchdogs, she did not list a Real ID . She mentioned a passport and a license. Do you understand? She demands that WE THE PEOPLE get one, but she does not have one! So typical of the elites! That’s because you DO NOT NEED ONE. These obedient sheep going to the DMV are going to be the death of everyone. Stop obeying the criminals when they tell you to follow illegal orders, like GET VAXXED. How did that work out? Their end-goal is genocide. Just say no to this idocracy that we live in. Read the Constitution. Get apprised of your rights as an American. Or you will be killed.
