A radical LGBTQ activist group in Fairbanks is boasting about the fact that it successfully raised money so that the guardians of a young gender-confused boy could dress the child up like a girl to facilitate his so-called gender “transition.”
Last month, the Fairbanks Queer Collective sent out a donation request for a “trans youth.”
“A supportive family is seeking gender-affirming feminine clothing for their trans child as she socially transitions,” the request stated.
It added that the goal was to collect clothing, accessories and gift cards, including garments in child sizes 6-7, as well as shoes that could fit a toddler.
“Suggestions: Leggings, dresses, skirts, sweaters, blouses, rompers and anything else femme and fabulous!” the donation request stated. “Accessories- Backpack, headbands, barrettes, necklaces, hats and anything else sparkly, frilly or cute.”
The activists recommended purple and rainbow colored garments.
On July 2, Fairbanks Queer Collective announced, “We had a few folx drop off cute outfits and we raised $350 that will go towards a little shopping spree for gender affirming clothes!”
In addition to helping socially transition young children to the opposite sex, the Fairbanks Queer Collective hosts drag queen performances for kids in the local library, and is a leading organizer of many other LGBTQ events targeting youth and children around town.
Every Wednesday and Thursday, the group hosts a “Queer Youth Hangout” and a “Talking Circle” to affirm gender-confused youth in their beliefs about their LGBTQ sexuality.

In May the group partnered with the local Boys & Girls Club for a “Queer Youth Pride Night,” offering pizza, snacks, cupcakes and video games to draw in the children.
The group’s unquestioning allegiance to transitioning gender-confused children contradicts a growing body of scientific studies indicating that “gender transition,” especially when it includes cross-sex hormones, is harmful to a child’s long-term physical and emotional health.
In May, the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services published a 400-page report describing the potential harms of various treatments aimed at gender-transitioning young children and teens.

Your kids need to be taken from you. Until you pull your head out of the sand and realize how wrong this is.
They aren’t parents by any stretch of logic. They are groomers and/or enablers. May God protect those innocent children. Our “representatives” don’t seem able to do so.
A toddler is a child under the age of three.
“Shoes a toddler could wear”. The article does not state the age of the child and clothing size doesn’t always match actual age. Either way 3 or 6, 8, whatever, it is sick, distorted and wrong.
This needs to be referred and investigated for child abuse and reckless endangerment of a child
A child is still a child. I find it troubling that so many people are supporting children in undergoing gender transitions. If minors can’t legally walk into a tattoo shop to get a tattoo or enter a bar to order a drink, why is it acceptable for them to make life-altering decisions about their gender identity? I don’t believe this is truly in the best interest of the child, it feels more like adults with an agenda are steering them into situations they may not fully understand.
Please report this to local, state and federal authorities. This is a preventable crime and you will save a life.

Obviously none of you have had a trans child. I imagine if you do you will try to beat it out of them. I hope none of you have such a child, or a LGBTQ+ child.
Children don’t even know what they want for dinner much less sexuality. Leave them be until they’re 18. Then THEY can make life-altering decisions.
In the first sentence it says guardians of the child not parents. Social Services or Child Protective Services should remove the child from these so called guardians. It seems they wanted a girl but got a boy and are now forcing their desire onto the child.
