“This doesn’t look like free speech to me. I’m going to look into this.” So said Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, writing on X this morning about Texas Christian University banning Chloe Cole from speaking at a Turning Point USA chapter event on campus.
Chloe Cole is the leading voice in America for those who have “de-transitioned.” She’s also our speaker for next month’s Alaska Family Council‘s Annual Dinner.
It never seems to stop.
Although my guess is that Texas Christian University may reverse course after all is said and done, remember this is Texas. It’s amazing how so many institutions and individuals are doubling down after the death of Charlie Kirk. Speech they don’t like? Shut it down.
But what they still don’t seem to understand is that when this kind of thing happens, it works in the opposite direction of what they are intending. Speech gets ramped up – as it should.
Chloe has said very clearly that she has no plans of curtailing her exemplary abilities to articulate what is true and right and beautiful in the wake of the earth-shifting experience of Charlie Kirk’s murder on September 10. If anything, she’ll be scheduling more events.
It’s time for all of us to have that same mindset. We’re called to be in the arena. Not in the stands.
And on Thursday, November 13th in Anchorage and Saturday, November 15th in Palmer, Alaska Family Council will be doing just that. We’ll have registration information up in a few days.

*She* was brainwashed into a double mastectomy at 15 because she was a tomboy when she was young and the doctors saw dollar signs. A truly terrible story for this poor girl. It’s fabulous that she’s strong enough to advocate against transitioning kids after the abuse she went through at such a young age.
What about her parents? You don’t have a double mastectomy at age 15 without parental consent.

There’s an entry about her on Wikipedia. I have to wonder what kind of relationship she has with her parents. She apparently had some kind of spiritual epiphany during an acid trip.
How about pulling the plank out of your eye and acting like Christians and showing our Lord’s greatest command, ” Love one another as I have loved you. ” That would be a great start for the bigots at Alaska Family Council.
You can love a person, but you certainly do not have to accept their sins, nor do you have to make their sins part of your life.

Chloe Cole is a brave young women , that realized that she was being used in a social experiment and changed course before it was too late and warning others .
