We want to wish all of Alaska a Happy Easter celebration.
While Christians have a particular reason to celebrate Christ’s Easter victory over sin and death, Easter’s joy has a way of leavening all of culture.
As we gather in our churches and with family and friends to feast on specialty meats, veggies and desserts, let us recall with thanksgiving that sin, brokenness and death are not the last words in this earthly journey.
Our primordial longings for wholeness, forgiveness – and life itself – are fulfilled with the death and resurrection of the long-awaited Messiah.
He is risen, indeed!

Beautiful picture. My favorite thing to see every morning. I look first to the East mountains as soon as I get up I’m pulling the curtains across and craning my neck to look Right. In wonderment how much more brilliant the Son’s light will look when he returns back at the exact place where he ascended in Isreal. The angel promised he’ll return as he left in the exact place he left. For us, We’ll see his light brilliantly shining over our East Chugach mountains. The saints who already left this world on the other side always reminded us as we see the day’s end signs keep our eyes on the skies His return is nearer. He’ll make liars out of all those people who mocked his return.
(I add and remind we keep our eyes on the sky a little more than keeping our eyes on government because the works we do here matters while we live here (to occupy the land) but when the Church (not religious congregations) all get to Heaven whatever we did here really did here doesnt matter unless it was Works that glorified the Father. You know what those works are for us in the Church are. It’s telling as many people about Jesus and discipling them so they can tell and teach others about Jesus. Through prayer God changes their hearts and Jesus saves them! Just as he saved us. )
Praise be our Saviors sweet and wonderful name.
Our entire faith hangs upon the events of this momentous day of victory. God bless you all, and your families. Happy Easter!
