Four days before announcing her intent to challenge Sen. Lisa Murkowski for her U.S. Senate seat in 2022, Kelly Tshibaka appeared on a prominent national program that informs and inspires Christians to pray for America.
During her 11-minute interview on Intercessors for America, Tshibaka spoke openly about the importance of bringing a faith-inspired worldview to the work of government. She also provided a unique inside look at how the internal organs of government operate – for both good or ill.
Whether on the national or local level, Tshibaka said it is vital to have people of faith contributing to the safety and prosperity of the nation – especially when it comes to national security and the execution of law.
Tshibaka served as commissioner for the Alaska Dept. of Administration for two years and stepped down last month to launch her U.S. Senate Campaign. She is the lone challenger to Murkowski who has been one of Alaska’s senators since 2002.
