U.S. Sen. Dan Sullivan (R-Alaska) has issued a sharp rebuke to President Biden in the wake of a Jan. 28 terrorist attack by Iran-backed militants that killed three U.S. soldiers and injured dozens more.
Sullivan posted to Twitter that the lethal attack has “crossed a red line.”
“This strike, and the 150+ attacks our forces have sustained in recent months, shows the dangers of the Biden administration’s appeasement of Iran in the past three years and the administration’s total failure to enact deterrence in the region — something I’ve been pushing to reverse for years,” Sullivan wrote on Jan. 28. “The President needs to order a clear, lethal and overwhelming response that demonstrates to Iran and to the world that whoever targets our men and women in uniform — or supports these attacks — will face the full might of the U.S. military.”
The unmanned drone strike is the latest of 159 documented terrorist attacks against U.S. forces in the Middle East since October.
According to a statement from U.S. Central Command, the attack killed three service members and injured 25 others at a base in northeast Jordan, near the Syria border.
President Biden blamed the attack on radical Iran-backed militant groups operating in Syria and Iraq.

“And have no doubt — we will hold all those responsible to account at a time and in a manner our choosing,” Biden said.
A number of global foreign policy experts, however, are blaming Biden’s practice of appeasing Iran and responding with half-measures, which many see as only serving to emboldened the terrorist-funding nation.

Sullivan likes his wars
I agree that Senator Sullivan tends toward the warmonger class. However, the war between Russia and Ukraine, Israel and Hamas, and the unrest in other parts of the world would not have even happened except For Biden’s lack of foreign policy. Senator Sullivan is a military man and not a diplomat and his ideas may be useful but cooler heads need to be in the drivers seat…
Really the Russia Ukraine war which escalated under trump and started as far back as 2014 wouldn’t have happened if Biden who was elected in 2020 had better foreign policy ?

Jennifer, I’m outraged at the apathetic response to our governor and government for targeting its own citizens! Wanting death and destruction to fulfill a deadly ideology, coerced by power players above them! They are working furiously at avoiding all consequences to themselves and developing new ways to destroy whatever scraps of representative government leftovers are!
Maybe the lack of outrage is mirrored by the absence of proof that the Covid vaccine harmed anyone.
