Dr. Ginger Blackmon, the woman in charge of training the next generation of Alaska’s public school principals and vice principals at the University of Alaska Anchorage, has expressed an intense and vulgar animosity for President Donald Trump and a host of conservative values held by many Alaskans.
Blackmon wields a powerful influence over public schooling in Alaska. As the Chair and program lead of UAA’s Department of Graduate Studies in Education she oversees and directs master’s level courses for students who wish to become principals and vice principals around the state.
She also directs UAA’s master’s degree program in educational leadership, which includes teaching prospective school leaders how to advance “social justice issues,” promote “otherized populations” and foster “resistance” and strategies to replace Western perspectives with Indigenous ones.
In her personal time, Blackmon frequently takes to social media to denigrate and ridicule Americans who voted for Trump, as well as those who oppose abortion or the gender-confused ideologies of the LGBTQ movement.
Her Facebook page, (which was purged of nearly all content shortly after this article was published) was filled with rants, memes and vitriol against those she deems to be ideological enemies.
Blackmon’s posts include allegations that Trump voters are in favor of “racism, misogyny, homophobia, transphobia, treason and fascism.” Others deride conservatives as “stupid” and “ignorant.”
One post states: “The problem isn’t that Trump is an unethical, corrupt, criminal, lying dirtbag and pedophile. Everyone knows that. The problem is that his supporters don’t care.”
Another entry condemns Trump voters for their “lack of morals, ethics, compassion and humanity.”
Some of Blackmon’s posts condemn MAGA supporters as “white supremacists.”
“I’M F*CKING TIRED OF TRUMP SUPPORTERS TYRING TO RATIONALIZE HORRIFIC RACISM,” one entry states.
Blackmon’s posts also question whether Trump was shot during an assassination attempt last year, or that he won the election.
In many instances she foments the idea that Trump supporters are in favor of segregation, coat-hanger abortions, internment camps, barefoot and pregnant women, lynchings and child labor.
When she isn’t railing against the MAGA movement, Blackmon’s Facebook page condemns anyone who would question the hard-leftist ideology of the LGBTQ agenda, calling them dangerous haters, bigots and a**holes.
One entry urges people to leave their religion if it does not affirm LGBTQ dogmas, while another compares those who oppose gender transitions to Nazis.
The day after conservative influencer Charlie Kirk was assassinated during a college speaking event in Utah, Blackmon reposted a meme that blamed Kirk’s murder on his “worship” of gun culture, while another entry called him a “white supremacist” who encouraged violence.
“Stop blaming Democrats for violence born out of your own hypocrisy,” she reposted.
She also exhibits zero patience with pro-life advocates who decry the killing of unborn babies through abortion, claiming they are trying to control women and “eliminate reproductive rights, while refusing to help resulting babies.”
Many other posts ridicule and demean those who refused to take the experimental Covid jabs, while many more are directed against efforts to enforce immigration laws.
According to UAA’s website, Blackmon’s program works closely with large Alaska school districts to raise up the next generation of public school leaders.
“The educational leadership program is proud to partner with Matanuska-Susitna School District (MSSD), offering UAA students and faculty the chance to attend and support MSSD’s educational leadership academy,” the UAA website boasts. “The academy brings teachers together for district-specific training.”
VIOLATING SOCIAL MEDIA GUIDELINES
Blackmon’s online activity appears to be in direct conflict with UAA’s social media guidelines for faculty.
According to the guidelines, UAA employees are “responsible for what you post on your own site and on the sites of others.” It warns against defamatory or libelous comments that may “come back to haunt you.”
“Think Before You Post,” the guidelines state. “If you feel angry or passionate about a subject, it’s wise to delay posting until you are calm and clear-headed. Post only pictures that you would be comfortable sharing with the general public, current and future peers, employers, etc.”

The website goes on to warn employees against posting content that would not be “acceptable for face-to-face conversation, over the telephone, or in another medium.”
“Ask yourself, would I want to see this published in the newspaper or posted on a billboard tomorrow or ten years from now?” the guideline states.
Additionally, the guidelines emphasize that faculty posts should be respectful.
“Don’t use ethnic slurs, personal insults, obscenity, or engage in any conduct that could result in professional, civil or criminal discipline,” it cautions. “You should also show proper consideration for others’ privacy and for topics that may be considered sensitive – such as politics and religion.”

UAA used to have a respectable School of Education. Obviously no longer.

As an employer (taxpayer) I want to know why employees such as “ginger” are collecting a paycheck. The UA system needs to have an ethics audit on “professors”. I feel we’re not getting most out of our money when hiring DEI candidates.

Posting on the UAA Campus social media pages is another and Dr. Blackmon did not post on the UAA social media sites.
