A group of Anchorage parents are urging the Anchorage School District (ASD) to “immediately review serious allegations of professional misconduct and violations of ethical standards involving two educators: Roz’lyn Wyche and Heather Doncaster aka Hank Van Dickerson.”

This is from the opening paragraph of an online petition that aims to hold these teachers accountable for social media posts and other comments that many believe are in violation of the State of Alaska’s Code of Ethics for educators and ASD’s own policies regarding professionalism, discrimination, and conduct.

“These actions risk creating a hostile and/or divisive learning environment for students, staff, and families,” the petition at Change.org states.

Posted by parental rights activist Dawn Bockelman who’s affiliated with Alaska chapter of Parents’ Rights In Education, the petition is being promoted by the Anchorage chapter of Moms for Liberty.

The petition notes that special education teacher Roz’lyn Grady-Wyche has publicly described the Anchorage School District as a “breeding ground for white supremacy.”

“In an opt-ed entitled ‘Anchorage’s diversity should be reflected in its teachers,’ published June 19, 2021 in the Anchorage Daily News, she co-writes:  ‘Each day that our 60% non-white student population is taught by an 87% white teacher cadre is another daily and tacit endorsement of white supremacy,’” the petition points out.

It goes on to note that Grady-Wyche associates the white teacher population as evidence that “deeply entrenched racial bias and white supremacist ideology is in our educational system.”

The petition then points out that Grady-Wyche recently posted derogatory and crass statements about Charlie Kirk, the day after he was fatally shot in the neck during a peaceful campus speaking event.

“Her divisive ideology is displayed throughout her social media posts, such as a post she wrote on Sept 11: ‘He [Charlie] spoke death into his life…because what you say words are very powerful and at this point I think he agreed to be a ‘martyr.’”

In addition to Grady-Wyche, the petition raises concerns about Clark Middle School’s 8th grade art teacher, Heather Doncaster, who goes by the drag performer name “Hank Van Dickerson” when prancing about in gay bars and myriad other Alaska venues.

When President Trump traveled to Alaska this past August to meet with Russian President Vladamir Putin, Doncaster posted images of her in full drag, holding a profane poster about Trump, along with statements that were seen by many as a thinly veiled threat to the president’s life.

“Her social media post on August 10, 2025, read ‘instead of saying kill two birds with one stone, say feed two birds with one scone.’ and a subsequent re-post August 15, the day these two leaders met read, ‘Someone could feed two birds with one scone today…just saying.’”

The online petition, which is being promoted by Moms For Liberty, calls for “accountability, transparency, and adherence to professional and ethical guidelines that govern all public employees – especially those in charge of educating our children.”

In particular, the petition urges the school district to do the following:

— Formally investigate and publicly review the alleged statements and classroom behavior of Roz’lyn Wyche and Heather Doncaster.

— Conduct a review to determine whether the teachers’ actions violate the State of Alaska Educator Code of Ethics or Anchorage School District policies on professional conduct and political impartiality.

— Provide clear communication from ASD leadership on how it ensures all educators maintain ethical, non-discriminatory, and professional standards in and out of the classroom, and what training is provided to teachers regarding its Code of Ethics

— Provide assurance that personal political ideologies are not being promoted in classrooms or through official roles within the school system.

— Provide assurance that students are not being treated or evaluated unfairly because of their religious beliefs or political views.

“When educators engage in potentially extreme, divisive, or unethical rhetoric, they not only betray the trust of the community but also compromise the integrity and safety of the institution they represent,” the petition concludes. “This is not about politics – this is about professional conduct, student safety, and accountability in public education.”

Moms for Liberty is urging parental rights advocates to join them at the Oct. 7 Anchorage School Board meeting to publicly address these issues with elected officials.

To hell with the First Amendment, eh?

Parents can submit criminal reports for investigation and prosecution to state public defenders office and ask for criminal investigation. They can singularly go to DOJ and the FBI and ask for a criminal investigation. All school districts use federal funds. Your tax payor dollars. Make the best of it and get busy. Remember, we are in the new administration now. Don’t wait for any elected official of the state to do a thing for you or the crime.

Relieved to know that none of my children will be forced to engage with someone so ill-informed, so hateful (shall I say bigoted and xenophobic?), so uncompromising in their disdain for values they do not personally hold and refuse to try to engage with respectfully. It seems clear that these “educators” are unable to be unbiased toward children growing up in conservative households. I thank God we left the Muni 2 years ago. I only wish we had done so sooner.

If the teacher Heather (aka Hank Van Dickerson) has XY DNA this person is a HE. Not sure from the above pictures if we are looking at a mutilated (breasts removed) bearded XX woman or what.

The post about Charlie Kirk just stated the facts. It was horribly sad that he was killed but he had some beliefs that were not acceptable to all. First amendment says we have free speech so the teacher had the right to present facts. Charlie did say those things.
