It is not often that any team finishes a season without a single point scored against them. 396 to zero over 10 consecutive games. That is the remarkable record this year of the Mat-Su 49ers Mitey Mite Football Team, in an unprecedented season, this group of students is now headed south to represent Alaska in the Pop Warner Pacific Northwest Regional Championship in Reno, Nevada, on November 22, 2025.

A victory there will advance them to the Pop Warner Super Bowl in Charlotte, North Carolina, December 6–13, 2025, where they will compete against the best teams from across the country. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for these dedicated players — a chance to showcase their hard work,
sportsmanship, and Alaskan pride on a national stage.

To make this dream a reality, parents and students are apace in an effort to raise $40,000 to help cover indoor practice space, travel, lodging, and team expenses. Every contribution directly supports the players and ensures that no family is left behind due to financial barriers.
