As the world prepares to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, Fairbanks area pro-lifers are planning to affirm the inherent dignity of unborn babies by singing Christmas songs outside the local Planned Parenthood facility.

Set for Dec. 10, there will be two caroling events, 1-2 p.m. and 4-5 p.m. The gatherings are part of a nationwide effort to offer life-giving hope to women who are considering an abortion during the holiday season.

“Let’s shine some love and light in front of one of the darkest places in Fairbanks,” an email alert from organizers states. “The birth of Jesus Christ brings hope and life into the world. Come join us to celebrate His love for us together.”

Song sheets will be provided at the event. Attendees are encouraged to dress warmly and bring candles or flashlights.
