The official campaign arm of Democrats in the U.S. House has targeted Alaska voters in an effort to help leftist Bill Hill replace conservative Congressman Nick Begich.
Hill, who claims to be an “independent,” has the full backing of the powerful and well-funded Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), which is led by hard-leftist Democrat House Leader Hakeem Jeffries. Adding Hill to its “Red to Blue” program is part of the DCCC’s larger goal of flipping Congress to the political left.
While Hill has made attempts to publicly distance himself from the Democratic Party, the DCCC sees him as a key to its push to regain majority control over the U.S. House.

In supporting Hill, the DCCC can utilize its ample funds and strategic support to further its stated goal, which is “dedicated to electing Democrats to the U.S. House of Representatives.”
According to the DCCC’s website, it is “the only political committee in the country whose principal mission is to support Democratic House candidates every step of the way.”
Republicans immediately pounced on the DCCC’s support, claiming it “blows Bill Hill’s cover.”
“The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee officially added Hill to the Red to Blue program, ripping off Hill’s independent mask and confirming that he’s just a far-left stooge of the Lower 48 Left,” said Nick Poche, the Western Regional Communications Director for the Republican National Committee. “There is zero doubt now that Bill Hill is and always was a Democrat. Hill would be a reliable vote for the far-left Lower 48 agenda and will never put Alaskans first.”
Earlier this summer, Hill refused to say whether he’d caucus with the Democrats if elected to the U.S. House.
“The caucus itself or the decision with whom you’re going to caucus or vote into leadership is really important leverage when you get to Congress,” Hill said during a June interview with Alaska’s News Source. “I will maintain that the people that I will be working with in Congress are the people who are going to be working to drive down the cost of health care … realize that public education is an important institution in our nation”
“Those are the people I’m going to work for,” he added. “I am actually caucusing with the Alaska people.”
When pressed by reporter Wil Courtney on whether he would side with Democrats, Hill responded: “I guess we’ll find out when the election comes.”
Apparently that answer was crystal clear for leading Democrats in D.C.

Republicans have repeatedly warned that if Hill replaces Begich, Alaska will lose a key ally in Trump’s federal efforts to help increase energy production, leasing, and resource development across Alaska.
At the same time, they warn that Hill would most likely fall in line with Biden-era green-energy policy, which would threaten oil-and-gas jobs, deplete state revenue and undermine long-term resource development throughout the state.
Last month, Begich won the primary with 44.6% of the overall vote, while Hill finished second with 32.5%. The general election is set for Nov. 3.

Begich has not addressed Alaska’s increasing costs. At least Hill has. This is going to come down to how the politician answers questions to increased costs to Alaskans. That’s what is worrying us. Increased cost in fuel, expected increase in health care, increased costs at the store. If Begich can’t figure out what to do or say, we have an issue. I also find it interesting that Begich has been somewhat mum on his support for Trump during this campaign as well.
You fail to mention (perhaps unaware) that the Port reconstruction tax on all goods coming into the state implemented by Anchorage’s hard Left mayor LaFrance has cost EVERYONE in the state of Alaska. You really believe that the Left’s Bill Hill is going to keep costs down for Alaskans? He’s going to be in lockstep with everything on the DNC’s platform. They’re his master just by dumping money into his campaign. It’s all about control, regulations, red tape & “green” initiatives.
It’s a no brainer you vote for Begich a man that gets things done. Or you get the left that will control everything move you make.
Begich has not been mum on trump. Where do you come up with this crap Liz. Prices are up on everything across the board in every state. Unfortunately we live in a state that’s disconnected from almost everything we need to survive so expect super high prices, cargo ships and jets are expensive to operate.
Democrats are running to flip everything blue and impeach Trump for the third or forth or fifth time , but I’ve heard crickets on anything constructive on what they are going to do if they win , kinda like the guy that catches the football at kickoff for the first time and has the deer in the headlight look !
Ok here’s the deal, we cannot trust a single one of these self serving politicians. While we’re all agreeing to disagree with each other we’re living proof that humans are the slowest learners on Earth. Divide and conquer has been used on us successfully for thousands of years and we keep falling for it. How about this, why don’t we all agree that color, religion, sex, has been pitted against us at the behest of others? Who are they? What do they represent? Where does the idea come from? When you were a baby do you think you had any hate, racism, self serving attitudes? Of course not, you were a beautiful example of humanity. We are all perfectly imperfect. We’re taught to lean towards darkness, that’s where our free will kicks in. How will you use your free will? Everything has a reaction, good or bad. It starts with an agenda, whose agenda and why? Everything bad happening in this country can be traced to foreign families. But at the end of the day, we have to take responsibility for our own actions and inactions. You really think Trump runs anything? Mister “I will stop all wars?” I’m not anti anyone, actions define all beings hence why we cannot trust TV ads. A politicians actions never align with their spoken word. We the people have the power and they know it. It’s why they need our approval, and they get it by lying their butts off. We should be agreeing to hold their butts to the fire if they vary one iota of what they say they will do for the people. Here’s the secret, Hollywood does not have the greatest actors. Politics have all the Oscar worthy actors we could ever dream of.
Imagine the sight of united souls, imagine what we could accomplish. You want to win? That how we do it. If you think this is wrong ask yourself this, how is what we’ve been doing working out for us? How much insanity are you willing to put up with so these actors can serve their puppet masters, have their private planes? Personally I don’t care what these people have if earned through benevolence, more power to them. And for God’s sake, we need to seriously address the constant aerial spraying of our atmosphere. It’s no longer a conspiracy theory, it’s been admitted to on live TV. We’ll see if this is even posted, 50/50 it’s erased within 10 minutes.
