More than 150,000 Anchorage ballots still haven’t been returned
More than a 150,000 Anchorage voters have yet to return their mail-in ballots for the municipal election which ends on April 7. The city sent 215,000 ballots to registered voters on March 17. As of Monday, April 6, just over 50,000 ballots had been returned.

As of April 1, Anchorage voters have mailed in 35,116 ballots for an election that could drastically reshape the Assembly and school board. Municipal Clerk Barbara Jones said the number of approved ballots submitted is 140% higher than this time last year,
