Alaska Voters

It can be difficult for pastors and local churches know where candidates for the Anchorage Assembly and Anchorage School Board stand when it comes to protecting unborn life, defending traditional marriage and parental rights and upholding religious liberty.

To address this, Alaska Family Action is making its 2020 Values Voter Guide available for free to pastors in the Anchorage, Eagle River and Girdwood areas to distribute to their congregations.

“For too long, those who hold traditional, Biblical views have stayed home on local elections. It’s time for that to change,” said Jim Minnery, executive director of Alaska Family Action. “Our non-partisan guides cover a range of issues and are perfectly legal to distribute to members of your congregation.”

The Municipality of Anchorage election is a mail-in election. Ballots will be mailed to registered voters March 17 and need to be postmarked by Tuesday, April 7 to be counted.

To request voter guides, contact Alaska Family Action at (907) 279-2825 or email president@akfamily.org.
