The Anchorage Assembly has lost all sense of decorum and dignity befitting the elected lawmakers of Alaska’s main cultural center. The danger is that the Assembly may again close its doors to the public – citing the inability to do the work of the city. This would only serve to further disenfranchise residents who are already upset that their elected representatives blocked them from attending meetings earlier this summer due to COVID-19, and then proceeded to pass laws that were deeply unpopular.

We must not descend into political chaos, instead, conservatives must elevate the political conversation.
