With every passing day it appears more likely Joe Biden will become our next president. From the illegal vote counting, vote harvesting, forged ballots and political court rulings against President Trump, it seems democracy has been hijacked by the Left. This will go down in history as the most corrupt election ever in the United States of America.
The result will be the inauguration of a president determined to make gun control a central theme of his administration. His presidency will result in the most significant assault on the constitutional rights of Americans since the 1857 U.S. Supreme Court case, Dred Scott v. John F. A. Sandford, in which the court ruled that black men were not people. As such, they had no protections under the U.S. Constitution.
The highest court in the land was wrong then, just as Joe Biden is wrong now. Our Constitution is clear that black men are people deserving of every right under the law as any other American and that every American has the right to keep and bear arms.
He is coming after our guns.
Joe Biden possess a clear and present danger to our constitutional rights under the Second Amendment. He has made it crystal clear he does not care about the constitutional rights of Americans if it conflicts with his uber-liberal socialist democratic objectives of transforming America into a socialist nation.
He is coming after our guns. His campaign web site identified the following goals:
- Ban the manufacture and sale of “assault” weapons and high-capacity magazines.
- Regulate possession of existing “assault” weapons under the National Firearms Act.
- End the on-line sale of firearms and ammunition.
- Reduce stockpiling of weapons.
- Prohibit the use of federal funds to arm and train educators to discharge firearms.
As he prepares to take office in January, we are already seeing his determination to implement these goals. He has announced plans to repeal the 2005 Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act, targeting gun manufacturers by eliminating their protection from frivolous lawsuits.
He plans to reinvigorate the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives to enforce his new executive orders to clamp down on gun manufacturing, sales and ownership.
It is often incorrectly asserted by the left that the Constitution only protects a person’s right to own weapons to protect themselves.
He intends to limit the types and number of weapons and ammunition private citizens may own or possess.
And he has stated he intends to implement a $200 tax on the ownership of every “assault” weapon and “high capacity” magazine, which is estimated to raise up to $34 Billion for the federal government to use on more gun control measures.
Biden is intending on unleashing a frontal attack against Americans by deliberately violating his constitutional oath to “preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States,” to appease his socialist base. This cannot be allowed to happen.
It is often incorrectly asserted by the left that the Constitution only protects a person’s right to own weapons to protect themselves. By mischaracterizing the Second Amendment, the left is attempting to reframe the “right to bear arms” into strictly a self-defense argument from which they can then mandate that only small caliber, limited magazine size weapons are permitted, as law enforcement is provided to handle serious crimes. Therefore, federal regulation of the types, sizes, calibers and number of weapons and magazines allowed by an individual can be regulated by the federal government. But that is not what the Second Amendment states.
Gun control is … about disarming the citizenry and making us more dependent on an ever-increasing centralized federal government…
“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” (Second Amendment to the US Constitution)
The Second Amendment had two intentions. The first was to ensure Americans had weapons to protect themselves and to hunt for food. The second, and equally important reason was to ensure that Americans were sufficiently armed to be able to form as a Militia to defend their rights under the constitution. This point cannot be understated. We have the right to form as a militia to protect our fundamental rights under the Constitution against any group or government that threatens our national sovereignty or our constitutionally protected rights.
This was confirmed by the Supreme Court in the 2008 landmark case known as District of Columbia v. Heller, 554 U.S. 570, which explained that “all citizens are the militia; the Second Amendment is an individual right, just like every other right protected in the Bill of Rights, and is independent of membership in any organized group or military unit.”
ALASKA WATCHMAN DIRECT TO YOUR INBOX
The shallow argument of the Left that gun control will decrease criminal activity is false. Chicago, a Democrat controlled city with some of the most stringent gun control measures also has one of our nation’s highest gun violence crime rates. Gun control is not about fighting crime, it’s about disarming the citizenry and making us more dependent on an ever-increasing centralized federal government, governed by liberal bureaucrats controlling every aspect of our lives.
Should Joe Biden become our next president on January 20, 2021 the challenge for all freedom loving Americans will be to resist his unconstitutional attempts to disarm America. We must fight gun control measures in the courts. We must peacefully protest actions that further erode our constitutional rights to an ever increasing central government. We must turn out in force to elect constitutional conservatives to local, state, and federal offices.
We must never surrender, never give up. It is our country, our future, our freedoms, and our duty to preserve the greatest nation ever created under God.
The views expressed here are not necessarily those of the Alaska Watchman.

God Bless your Oath Semper Fidelis !
Biden and the left have no idea what they are stepping in! First the NAF is unconstitutional, always has been! Second, the 2nd Amendment’s intent and purpose was for protection against a tyrannical government and until recently it was a foreign concept. Now we have politicians who openly condemn our most sacred document (The Constitution) and vow to change it yet, they are not removed from office for dereliction, subversion or treason? WTH is going on? We the People stood up once against tyranny, its time to do it again and we will not fail! President Trump won by a landslide, Biden is a liar and a cheat!

We are under no obligation to abide by an unlawful decree that says we must pay a tax on any weapon we already own, and since there is no registry of who owns what weapon, there is no way they can know who would owe such a tax and therefore they cannot collect it. If Biden does win and tries to implement such things as mentioned in this article, they will go to the Supreme Court and be ruled unconstitutional, and that is one of the main reasons for Trump in the White House was to appoint conservative, constitutional judges. Once they are put down by the Supreme Court they cannot be revisited and will remain cemented in stone. If this happens sooner rather than later, then that will be one silver lining in the cloud of Trump losing this election to cheats and liars!

Mr. Allen,
Nice try, got it, you really, really don’t like me. Was there anything specific in my opinion piece that was not accurately presented, regardless of your personal feelings about the author? Our constitutional rights as Americans will never be silenced by bullying. Sorry.

They should have taken the guns BEFORE they pissed us off. Now they have set themselves up for war. Remember waco, ruby ridge and Nevada. Ya feds bleed red to! Let’s get it on bitches. We will crush your asses on the battlefield. If it’s war you want,, it’s war you will get. There are millions of combat veterans with gear and rounds still healthy enough to meet your feds on the american battlefield. I’m so excited,, lets get it mother fuckers! Naaa… Lets put this flaming bag of crap on the right doorstep. And that would be at tom Katkus’s doorstep. Tom being a retired APD officer used his “thin blue line” connections to stamp out any external investigations. Anytime a report came into the troopers, they would call Katkus and ask what was being done. He would reassure them he was handling it.
Out of my cold dead hands.
Even though I am retired, my military oath still stands until the day I die and I will fight to protect the Constitution. Molon Labe.
If you don’t militarily vacate the entire US election and do it all over, on paper only, deadlines be damned, and with heavy military presence to force a fair and peaceful vote and count, there will never be another election, period. The seditious traitors running this coup d’etat against the United States, bribing, extorting, blackmailing and assaulting those who dare to expose their treason will always “win” future rigged elections. I hope to God the military is secretly planning to mobilize and arrest this coup should the US Supreme Court be blackmailed. If they don’t carry out their solemn oath, the United States will be KIA by their complicit negligence.
“The Second Amendment reads: “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to
the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms,
shall not be infringed.”
There are two clauses that comprise the Second Amendment, an operative
clause, and a prefatory clause.
Operative clause: “The right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not
be infringed.”
The operative clause is the actual protected right; kind of the ‘meat and
potatoes.’ The court wrote: “1. Operative Clause. a. ‘Right of the People.’
[used 3 times in Bill of Rights] … All three of these instances
unambiguously refer to individual rights, not ‘collective’ rights, or rights
that may be exercised only through participation in some corporate body.”
(p.5).
Prefatory clause: “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security
of a free State.”
The prefatory clause is the lead-in that “announces a purpose” for the
operative clause. The court stated: “The Amendment’s prefatory clause
announces a purpose, but does not limit or expand the scope of the second
part, the operative clause. The operative clause’s text and history
demonstrate that it connotes an individual right to keep and bear
arms”(Heller law syllabus p.1).
The court also stated: “The Amendment could be rephrased, ‘Because a well
regulated Militia is necessary to the security of a free State, the right of
the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed.’” (Heller law
syllabus p.3, emphasis added).
Notice how nothing in the 2nd Amendment gives any right to anyone but the
people with regards to keeping and bearing arms. It doesn’t say that the
militia has the right to keep and bear arms, that right is granted
exclusively to the people, nor does it say that the right is contingent upon
being in a militia or subject to any form of government oversight. Notice
that it also does not mention any limit on the types or amounts of arms the
people have the right to keep and bear.
Or, to make it so simple that even a liberal can understand:
“A well schooled electorate being necessary to the education of a free
state, the right of the people to keep and read books shall not be
infringed”.
Does that mean that only those in the electorate have the right to keep and
read books, or is that right given to the people?
Of course the people have the right to keep and read books, just as the
people have every right to keep and bear arms.
If you think that the Founding Fathers only intended for the 2nd Amendment
to apply to muskets, then surely you must agree that your 1st Amendment
rights only extend to what you write on parchment with a quill pen, what you
print using a hand operated movable type press, or how far your voice can
carry from the center of town, since those were the means of communication
in use during the time of the Founding Fathers”
