Anchorage residents who support President Donald Trump have scheduled what organizers are calling one of their most important rallies of the year.

Supporters of the president will gather at the corner of Northern Lights and New Seward Highway on Sunday, Jan. 10, to show support for Trump in his last days as Commander and Chief.

“One of our most important rallies yet – we will not give up,” the group’s Facebook page states. “This is not over, and what happened in the Capitol is unreal. Have faith – we stand with this country and we stand with President Trump.

In his final days as president, Trump has faced condemnation from the mainstream media for his insistence that Joe Biden’s election victory was marred by widespread election fraud. Trump has refused to attend Biden inauguration and he has been permanently banned from Facebook.

Nevertheless, tens of millions of supporters across the nation support the president and have deep concerns that the election process has been compromised.
