After taking last year off due to COVID concerns, the annual Governor’s Prayer Breakfast returns March 27 to provide an opportunity for Alaskans to pray for Gov. Mike Dunleavy

This year’s event will be held at the Menard Sports Center in Wasilla. The pre-event prayer room opens at 8 a.m. and the main program begins at 9 a.m.

Robert Cornuke

Robert Cornuke – a former police investigator and SWAT team member – is the featured speaker. He is now a biblical investigator, international explorer, lecturer and author of nine books.

Cornuke has taken part in more than 50 expeditions around the globe, searching for lost locations described in the Bible. This includes searching for the real Mount Sinai in Saudi Arabia, looking for the remains of Noah’s Ark in Turkey and researching ancient Assyrian and Babylonian flood accounts in Iran.

He has followed ancient accounts of the Ark of the Covenant from Israel to Egypt and across Ethiopian highlands. In the search for Saint Paul’s shipwreck, off the coast of Malta, his research team identified four anchors believed to be the very ones described in Acts 27 & 28. Cornuke’s latest book relocates the location of Solomon’s temple completely off of the Temple Mount and places it in the City of David. This research effort on the temple placement is astounding Bible students worldwide.

He has appeared on National Geographic Channel, CBS, NBC’s Dateline, Good Morning America, CNN, MSNBC, Fox, ABC, Discovery, and History Channel’s and Ripley’s Believe It or Not. He has traveled across Afghanistan during U.S. bombing strikes on a video assignment.

Cornuke is president of the Bible Archaeology Search and Exploration Institute in Colorado Springs, CO. He also serves as special advisor for the National Council on Bible Curriculum in Public Schools.

The Governor’s Prayer Breakfast began in 1983 with the belief that Alaskans would take time to pray for state leaders. Since then, the event has grown to where it is regularly attended by Alaskans who seek God’s guidance and protection for those fellow citizens who have been chosen to help lead the state.

According to the group’s website, the non-partisan organization is guided by a board of 14 Alaskans who believe “God directs the affairs of Man and is the ultimate authority over human events.”

Didn’t Alaska acquire new Dominion voting machines in the year before this last election? If it is like Georgia, the Governor and the secretary of state are involved in these decisions, I wonder how money/favors change hands in these matters? I am suspicious of certain election results. The Ranked voting for instance, it was failing by 10% night of election then later prevailed. In my opinion Ranked Choice is a strategy to get less popular, more compromised candidates in place. Vote fraud is a problem everywhere.

Gov. and the republicans and demonrats are fast tracking SB 46 and HB76 to keep Alaska shut down till next September to get the other 2.2 Billion it’s about the tax free money and that’s all it is. He needs prayers all right he is lying to all Alaskans. He wont have nothing to do with an independent audit of the 1st 6.5 Billion what you hiding Gov. you and your two largest campaign contributors jockeying to shut down commercial fishing in the Cook inlet for your two compadres.
