According to the latest figures from the Alaska Dept. of Health and Social Services, 39.1% of Alaskans (age 16 years and older) are deemed “fully vaccinated.” A total of 47.1% have had at least one COVID injection.
Alaskans living in some regions of the state, however, are much less inclined to roll up their sleeves for the COVID jab.
Here’s how the numbers break down by area.

- Matanuska-Susitna Region: 25.6%
As of April 16, there are 39 patients diagnosed with COVID who are currently hospitalized in Alaska. The percentage of patients hospitalized while having COVID is 3.7% of all hospitalizations.

I’m thinking after the FDA does some real research and the side effects are worked out in a year or two most people will be more inclined to get the vaccine. At this point to much has not been proven and the conspiracy information is better than the vaccine.

Whether or not my opinion really makes that much of a difference, I just thought, I would throw this at the wall and see if it sticks. Now I’ve read both sides, and have done my own research, (highly recommended……..doing your own research that is.) Personally, If this virus scares you that much, what are you waiting for, get the damn shot, and get out of the house. Are there risks? Absolutely, but if it gives you a little peace of mind, and pulls you out of the lows, and your house you’ve been stuck in for the last year, make an appointment.
Everyone has the freedom in this country to make whatever choice they want. Get the shot, don’t get the shot it’s your call, but like I said earlier do your own research and make your own selection, by the way over %99 survival rate…just saying, and for goodness sakes turn off the news and quit listening to the toxic and negative garbage oozing out of their mouths, and do the work so that you can make a decision with a clear conscience.

If you are a medical Professional that is giving this injection and you are not informing those that are receiving that all animals that were tested prior to the calling off of the the test on animals due to all that were injected in the ferrets all died horrible slow deaths… Something to think about. I am writing this for my husband who is in Nevada with his 72-year-old brother in good health suffered a stroke. He lived alone so we did not have much information except that someone found him in his house unconscious and he was transported to a hospital. He had suffered a major stroke and has been on a neurology unit since early April. He is unable to swallow and is being fed with tube feedings, one side is paralyzed, he cannot speak, along with many other side effects of this stroke.
My husband asked the staff if he had the COVID vaccine and they stated that they had no way of knowing. Today my husband was able to get into his house and found the confirmation of his Moderna vaccine on 3/12 and a reminder to come for his second dose on 4/9. He was hospitalized on 4/5 and had apparently been unconscious in his home for 2.5 days before that.
We are thankful that he has not had the second dose. The nurse today informed him that he will likely not recover and be transferred to a long-term care facility.
We write this first-hand evidence as a warning to those of you who read this to stand firm and refuse the vaccine. Why would you even take the chance when the evidence is so pronounced?
