The Interior Taxpayers’ Association (ITA) is holding a forum on Sept. 7 for candidates running in borough and city races in Fairbanks this October.

Unlike most forums, the ITA avoids canned questions and instead allows robust audience participation with a moderator fielding impromptu questions from attendees.

Questions often center on fiscal policy, but audience members are welcome to ask the candidates about other issues as well.

The forum is set for Sept. 7 at University Baptist Church (1197 University Drive), staring at 6:30 p.m. For more information, call (907) 347-5414 or click here.

The ITA is a long-standing Fairbanks non-profit that advocates for fiscally conservative policies and lower taxes.
