Anchorage residents must be registered to vote by this Sunday, March 6, in order to participate in the upcoming April 5 election, which may be one of the most consequential in the city’s history.
Five solid Anchorage Assembly candidates are attempting to unravel the hard-left majority that has imposed crippling Covid mandates, attacked religious liberties and presided over a town mired in crime and homelessness.
If last year’s election of Mayor Dave Bronson – a principled conservative – is any indication, liberty-loving Anchorage residents still have the power to elect Assembly members who will respect and defend their natural and God-given rights.
ALASKA WATCHMAN DIRECT TO YOUR INBOX
Thanks to a massive conservative wave, the 2021 mayoral election between Bronson and hard-left Assemblyman Forrest Dunbar shattered previous voter turnout records. In order to finish the job and give Bronson an Assembly that won’t try to thwart his every move, we need a repeat of 2021.
If you haven’t registered to vote, have changed your mailing address or are unsure of your voter status, visit the state Division of Elections website at voterregistration.alaska.gov, call (907) 522-8683, or email electionsr2a@alaska.gov. If you don’t vote, then you have no say
Pretty sure the 1st amendment disagrees with that. I understand your reasoning, but when I vote it is for someone I WANT in office. Not the lesser of two evils. So if a slug gets into office because I did not vote for the slug running against them you can pretty well bet I will be complaining.
Yes I agree
No mail in ballots or this new rank choice voting.
one vote in person with ID
That slug still sounds better then these losers we have in office now.
I love when “conservatives” complain after they lose when they didn’t vote. We need every single vote we can get to overcome any shenanigans the commies try to pull.
