First, I want to wish everyone an imminent and happy resurrection day tomorrow! This is an update regarding our editor-in-chief’s wife, Joy, whom many of you know and have prayed for since the announcement of her stage 4 cancer diagnosis earlier this year.

The first report is that her surgery went as well as could be hoped for, and the initial cancer was surgically removed. What remains is soon to be treated with a specialized, and very custom round of chemotherapy over three weeks in the lower 48 at a special treatment center.

In honor of Joy, and her courageous battle against cancer, a large contingent of friends and Alaska Watchman supporters are holding a dinner and both silent and live auction fundraiser to help with additional financial support. If you are available on the night of April 16th and are so inclined, there will be festivities, dinner and merry-making for several hours that Sunday evening.

If you are unable to attend, but would like a take-out Italian meal for you and/or your whole family that evening, that option is open to you as well.

Details on the fundraiser / dinner as well as $50 tickets to the event itself and meal tickets for take-out are available on the fundraising dinner website located here.

Thank you for supporting Joel and his family in this difficult chapter.

We are so glad to hear that treatment is going well. We pray she will be healed in whatever way .
We are always thankful for you paper telling us of alternative ways of looking at all kinds of issues.
This website will tell you a wonderful way to ensure the ALL cancer will be destroyed, and the wonderful fact is that not a lot of cells will be destroyed in the meantime.
See what you think of it. It is a very personal decision, I know.
But I want you to know about this amazing cure, that might just be the wonderful for her.
