Anchorage State Senator Löki Tobin unleashed a vitriolic, profanity-laced diatribe against Alaskans who support newly enacted rules that bar gender-confused biological males from competing in girls’ high school sports.

In an Oct. 10 rant to her email followers, Tobin denounced new policies approved by the Alaska Schools Activities Association and the State Board of Education with a message titled, “Discrimination and hate are bullshit.”

For months now, Tobin has echoed the talking points of Planned Parenthood and ACLU of Alaska, claiming that biological males have a “right” to compete as girls, so long as they internally believe they are females trapped in male bodies.

In trying to make her point, Tobin, perhaps inadvertently, admitted that males have a natural physical advantage over girls.

She claimed that in high school she “wrestled against young men whose muscle mass was twice mine.”

Tobin then seemed to suggest that girls should just get over the fact that biological males might occasionally compete against them, stating that the world is “often seemingly unfair and filled with unwarranted obstacles.”

She then suggested that body types aren’t what really matter after all, claiming that “competitive advantage sometimes is not held within one’s body type. It may sound cliché, but it’s what’s inside that counts.”

Tobin went on to accuse the Alaska School Activities Association Board of Directors of pandering to “fear-mongering,” while “using kids as political pawns” in “adopting a discriminatory policy” against what she calls “trans girls.”

Not once, did Tobin address the substantial concerns, expressed by hundreds of Alaskans, that biological males present a threat to both the integrity and safety of girls’ high school sports. Instead, she stuck to her talking points, claiming that any effort to restrict males from competing as girls was amount to “state-mandated discrimination, bigotry and bullying.”

Any bets she is pro Hamas?

  • Jon and Ruth Ewig says:

I internally believe that there is no such thing as gravity. I internally believe that I have a right to murder my neighbor. I internally believe that there are 50 hours in a day. I internally believe that Loki Tobin should run for president……So much for basing decisions on feelings. It seems that Tobin has no sense of right and wrong and should not be a legislator making our decisions.

    • Barbara says:

Ask students what they think of this? It’s lots of adults talking, but the younger generation is what is being effected. Seriously, ask a student!

      • Richard K CORBeil says:

No. Adults make these decisions. Students, I.E. children are not fully equipped to deal with such things. They can’t see the long-range ramifications of accepting the possibility that a boy can be a girl. They can’t see the effects down the road of what happens to a gender-confused kid. Especially our kids in public schools where they are being fed false and misleading information daily on this (and a few other) issues. Adults/Parents make these decisions because it is our job to make sure our kids are protected from predation.

  • fedupwithleftistBS says:

How did this POS ever get elected, oh wait mail in and ranked choice voting. Some people just aren’t worth the time of day.

    • Mike Coons says:

I don’t remember anyone that ran against her. So RCV and “mail in voting” (which for this election was NOT, yes absentee) had nothing to do with this. This was Tom Begich’s, Democrat, seat, he endorsed her. This is a blue district and always goes Socialists!
Come on if we are going to go after her, then do so on facts. That she is a hard core Socialist, fact. Her support of Socialist policy and issues, is a fact.

  • DaveMaxwell says:

    She’s a tough guy! Literally

  • Jen says:

The teen boys she wrestled against were in her weight category and equal experience level. That’s a poor example of hers. I do hope her district constituents have someone else they will support, so she can go home and think about her behavior.

when the insane get a forum…

  • DaveMaxwell says:

Are there no ethical standards these political leaders have to abide by? Oh really there are! Let’s recite the unwritten rules together now: no one is held accountable for their actions if they are a public employee or leader!
Nothing to see here, move along!

  • Jonis Pistov says:

Guess what Tobin: what’s on the outside also counts

  • Hairbear says:

Alaska is not going to make it. The mental issues are on every level. The government here will never have the right people. You see they are solving the housing crisis with wealth redistribution. Anybody know how much it cost to upkeep an airbnb or short term rental compared to a long term. Next they will restructure your small business for their cult. Good luck with this crap. Truly

    • Friend of Humanity says:

Another attempt to inject doom, gloom, failure, and doubt. Not buying it. Alaska is going to make it. Just because there are some squeaky wheels, does not mean that the wheels will fall off. Alaska is going to get the wheels oiled and keep on rolling!

      • DaveMaxwell says:

Foh your comments are on the verge of naive and most certainly debatable. No offense intended

      • Friend of Humanity says:

Dave, whatever. I hope that when your time comes, our Father in Heaven will wipe out all your bitterness so that you will be the positive, loving guy that dwells somewhere inside that deep pit of anger.

  • Burt says:

she should eat a bag of Richards and die.

  • DaveMaxwell says:

I’ve not heard of Richards before. What’s that?

    • DaveMaxwell says:

      Wow Foh
Maybe its time for the sidelines.? You sound in need of a vacation! As far as I’m concerned bitterness, maybe, deep pit of anger, that is quite the accusation! The difference between me and you is that if you have an issue with me your welcome to contact me as I’m not hiding behind an alias. You on the other hand are safely hiding behind the obnoxious FOH. It fits perfectly in a culture that has lost the willingness to be authentically who you are! It scores 0 as far as credibility! Maybe you have seen me publicly stating exactly what I think in that forum as well. You on the other hand, when, where?
Once again I say no offense intended

      • Friend of Humanity says:

I did not take offense. You just appear to have a hard time responding on a positive note – putting positive vibes out there. Don’t you ever grow tired of your own negativity?

  • Don says:

So what would Tobin think if one of these internally believing trapped males should defeat her daughter (if she has one) in some athletic event that cost her a scholarship for college? She probably tells her daughter too bad, you didn’t try hard enough OR if she has a son that is internally trapped that defeats a female competitor to win a scholarship that rightly goes to the female…Tobin would be gushing with pride saying atta girl! And that’s just athletics

  • Barb says:

Sheer horrific evil personified in her.

  • Mike Ritz says:

Love how the liberal comments on here go right to a name and topic that is irrelevant in this situation! The fact that biological boys have no business competing with girls is just wrong! This liberal senator should be thrown out of the state legislature for her behavior! And for all the liberal bed wetters on here, Trump was right about everything, Trump 2024!

    • Lucinda says:

Ritz: Trump loves the poorly educated. Send him as much money as you can.

      • Marlene says:

Where do you get your silly comments. Oh, yeah, fake news. Trump was and is right about you.

    • Marlene says:

I certainly agree with all you have written. Trump was and is still right about everything. Trump 2024!!!

      • Lucindann says:

Well, Marlene. There is video of Trump saying “I love the poorly educated”. There is. Maybe you can concoct a highly improbable explanation for why he didn’t really say that. That would be fun to read. Or you could continue to say “fake news” which has become a playground taunt. There is a real, verifiable, evidence-rich world out there Marlene and you are invited to join.

  • ML, just common sense says:

This cancer known as liberal socialism has been consuming the west coast states, and now to my dismay even to Alaska. What you will see is the city people, who are usually not true Alaskans with Alaskan values, but invasive liberals from Washington, California, Oregon, and the East coast. They bring their twisted values and agendas with them, and so the cancer grows. Tobin, is a product of this new generation of Democrats, who embrace the corrupted values and illogical thought that will be the demise of this country if not stopped. God doesn’t make mistakes, he meant for you to be a male or female, period. Now if you have confusion about it obviously you need to seek mental health assistance. We don’t embrace mental dysfunction as a life choice that others have to except. If Ms. Tobin, has problems understanding that then it’s possible that some mental health counseling for her would be in order. The facts are indisputable, we have males and female genders, and girls sports are just that, “girls sports”! The stupidity of this conversation is beyond rational thought! Mike Ritz, is right, the decorum of public officials needs to be professional and correct, and she does need to be censored for her behavior.

  • Dave Peck says:

I’m getting tired of hearing this BS from people like her. She ruins things for everyone else. I have a solution. Get rid of all school sports from K thru 12. Eliminate it all. Then she won’t have anything to complain about and we won’t have to think about it anymore, at least in K-12. If kids want to participate in sports they can become involved in private clubs where the clubs can set whatever rules they want. College & professional sports can deal with it but at least locally we won’t have to waste anymore time on her unicorn dreams.

  • KKirk says:

If it’s what’s on the inside that counts, let’s see her in a wrestling ring with a guy who would be in her weight class. That should be LOADS of fun to watch!

  • Kam says:

The replies when liberals lose are quite humorous if they didn’t really believe what they are saying-which appears to be similar to mental illness

  • DaveMaxwell says:

Foh pull out your vegitales and Barney videos and try with all your might to continue to exist in the reality of the past!
You certainly aren’t the only one who is trying to keep that realm alive!
I would draw your attention to your place of worship. Question: is there any intersection between what you learn there and what you continue to post ? I’d bet not. Time to recognize your actual surroundings. We’ve moved away from your desired comfort zone and are now on the verge of world war 3 a nuclear war! Too negative?
    Kumbyya !

  • Phyllis Jost says:

Am I the only one who has never seen similar demands for /from girls who think they are boys to play on boys teams with all the extras of shared showers? etc. What I see are boys, men, and supporters is male failures who have to put down another to feel like a winner.
