In a letter sent to Alaska’s D.C. delegation earlier this month, Alaska State Rep. Jamie Allard urged U.S. Senators Dan Sullivan and Lisa Murkowski, along with Rep. Mary Peltola, to stand firmly with Israel, while working to secure the U.S. border and increasing funding for national defense.
Below is the letter sent by Allard on Oct. 11.
I want to convey my appreciation for your strong support of Israel amid the recent vile acts of evil and genocide perpetrated by the Hamas terrorist organization. Your statements reflect an understanding of the precarious geopolitical landscape and the indispensable role of a well-supported Israel in fostering stability within the region.
I echo Senator Sullivan’s call for a significant increase in Defense Department funding, similar to the shift seen in the final year of President Carter’s term. It must happen. Similarly, I stand with Senator Murkowski and Congresswoman Peltola in condemning the senseless acts of terrorism unleashed upon innocent civilians. Your call for international solidarity, aid to Israel, and a reevaluation of the existing policy stance towards Iran and other regimes supporting Hamas is both timely and imperative.
I would also like you to address the illegal immigrants crossing our borders and infiltrating our society. The failure of the Department of Homeland Security to validate the background of these people only opens us up to acts of domestic terror. Customs and Border Patrol does not have the capacity to deal with the numbers of unidentified illegals infiltrating our country; we need a secure border. Completing the wall Mr. Trump was building is a good place to start. The United States does not need another terror attack like 9-11 or what Israel just experienced. The Constitution states the Federal Government shall use our tax revenue to provide for the National Defense.
I urge you to advocate within Congress and with President Biden for a significant shift in policy to bolster our defense capabilities and extend unwavering support to Israel. A well-fortified Israel is pivotal in fostering a climate of stability and peace in a region fraught with perennial conflict.
Thank you for your dedication to our national and global security.

Well written Jaime. Additionally we could make them aware that we are praying for them and for the safest outcome for all of us.
Rep. Allard, nice letter. There are a couple I le things I’d like to point out about it; first, Mr.Trump is either Former or just President Trump not Mr. Second, Senator Murkowski has done everything in her power to vote the opposite of what anyone has ask her to do. So you should of wrote to leave the border open and we might stand a chance to actually get it closed down. Thank you for taking initiative and writing this letter. How about another with all of Juneau signing on?
Thank you!! We stand behind Israel and we are against terrorist attacks!! We are for closed borders!! If we have another 911 we know our own government has allowed it by not protecting our borders!!
A New York Rabbi gave a talk saying that a mouse could trigger an alarm on that border fence that is that sensitive and twenty jeeps would be to that place in minutes…. Some reports say it took 6 hours for troops to arrive.
The Rabbi also said this had to be an inside job. Think people…

Check it out. Hamas on hanglider, Israel attacking, a climate change machine, Killary on the train tracks, and more. We were told the plan a long time ago and did not know it.
Great Find! I hope Jamie Allard sees it.
Allard for President!
Allard has no political clout
