At the urging of the CDC, the State of Alaska is unleashing a pre-Christmas pro-jab campaign – imploring healthcare providers to pressure residents to submit to a trio of shots.
On Dec. 18, the state health department issued a mass email to healthcare workers, strongly encouraging them to follow new CDC recommendations aimed at combating low vaccination rates and increasing the percentage of Alaskans who have received Covid, influenza and RSV shots.
Sent through the Alaska Public Health Alert Network, the email warned of vaccination resistance nationwide, including in Alaska.
As of Dec. 12, just 13.4% of Alaskans over the age of six months had submitted to the latest rendition of the Covid shot. The state, however, wants everyone to get jabbed, unless they have contraindications.
Nationally, the CDC reports that just 7.7% of children six months to 17 years have received the new Covid shot, and only 17.2% of those 18 and older have the jab. Pregnant women are particularly reticent, with just 9.6% agreeing to take the shot.
With regards to the flu shot, only 18.5% of Alaskans have agreed to get it this year. That’s significantly lower than the 21.2% from two years ago.
When it comes to the RSV vaccination, 9% of Alaskans over 60 have taken the shot, compared to nearly 16% nationwide.
The latest effort to push Covid shots follows a long pattern in which the shots were initially rolled out under a scarcity model to get as many people signed up as possible.
According to the CDC new campaign messaging, the low vaccination rates are driven by concerns about harmful side effects, lack of healthcare worker recommendations, and many people simply forgetting to get shots.
To address this, the CDC is instructing state healthcare workers to double down on recommending, defending and administering the Covid jab and other immunizations. Additionally, the CDC wants healthcare providers to push patients to test, stay home when sick, wash their hands, and improve home ventilation.
While the CDC is warning about an uptick in hospitalizations for those with the flu, Covid and RSV, the alert fails to disclose that this is also the standard season when those illnesses are typically more common.
As with past CDC messaging, the agency downplays adverse reaction to Covid shots, despite widespread reports of serious consequences, including debilitating side effects and death.

It’s unclear whether this latest tactic will gain much traction, given the widespread skepticism over the CDC’s aggressive push for Covid jabs, combined with a refusal to give much credence to alternative treatments, while continually downplaying serious adverse reactions.
Nevertheless, the CDC has provided healthcare workers with a new “conversation guide,” which is being disseminated by Alaska’s health department. It offers boilerplate talking points to help convince more individuals and parents to get on board with the shots.
Under the heading “Make a strong recommendation,” the guide suggests that healthcare providers say, “You are due for your flu and COVID-19 vaccines today. I’ve gotten these vaccines myself and recommend them for you too.”
It also coaches providers to use “motivational interviewing” techniques when patients are hesitant or resistant to a strong recommendation.” Additionally, the guide tells healthcare workers to “show empathy” and express curiosity about why patients are reticent to get jabbed.
“If a patient is resistant to your strong recommendation, ask to discuss vaccines further,” the guide states. “Respect the patient’s decision if they say no and ask if they would be willing to talk about vaccines at their next visit.”

It advises using “open-ended questions, affirm positive behaviors, reflect what you hear, and summarize the conversation: ‘What have you heard about these vaccines?’ ‘How does that make you feel?’ ‘On a scale of 1 to 10, how likely are you to get an influenza vaccine?’”
Ultimately, however, the CDC wants health workers to push its standard narrative that Covid, flu and RSV shots “are safe and are the most effective way to keep your family healthy,” adding that they should also state, “Side effects tend to be mild and temporary; serious adverse events are rare.”
The conversation guide makes no mention of natural immunity, but instead urges providers to say, “Getting a flu, COVID-19, or RSV vaccine is a safer, more reliable way for your body to build protection than taking the risk of getting very sick with a respiratory virus.”
The guide also tells providers to admit to patients that they “could still get sick after getting vaccinated. But your symptoms will usually be milder and less severe than if you did not receive the vaccine.”
The CDC wants these talking points widely disseminated via the media in advance of the holidays.

FOH HIPAA prohibits your medical information ( insurance plans, medical conditions, and files) from being sold or shared with 3rd parties without your consent. No where does it cover or prohibit a pharmacist from informing you, that you haven’t gotten a routine vaccination.

All I know is I listened to my doctor at wellness checks and got my daughter all her “shots”. She now has asthma, animal allergies and severe nut allergies. My friends who didn’t vaccinate their kids have children with zero health issues – no allergies. Maybe it’s a coincidence. Two of my friends mom died within a month of taking the COVID vaccine. Maybe another coincidence? During COVID I started looking into vaccines and analyzing data. Prior to that I always trusted the medical industry.
