On Thursday, Gov. Mike Dunleavy signed onto a statement with 24 fellow governors from around the nation in support of Texas Gov. Greg Abbot’s ongoing efforts to secure the Southern border.
The statement was released by South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem one day after Abbott accused the Biden administration of breaking its compact with states to ensure the national border from invasion.
The conflict dates back to this past October when federal border patrol agents were ordered to remove razor wire that was installed by Texas officials along a section of the Rio Grande border that was particularly prone to illegal crossings.
On Jan. 21, the U.S. Supreme Court voted 5-4 to let Department of Homeland Security federal border agents to cut this razor wire. That decision lifted an injunction from U.S. Court of Appeals that had blocked this action.
Abbot, however, is not backing down, and has ordered additional wire to be installed along the border. His Wednesday statement blasted Biden for violating his oath of office to secure the national border.
In standing with Abbot, the 25 governors stated the following:
“President Biden and his Administration have left Americans and our country completely vulnerable to unprecedented illegal immigration pouring across the Southern border. Instead of upholding the rule of law and securing the border, the Biden Administration has attacked and sued Texas for stepping up to protect American citizens from historic levels of illegal immigrants, deadly drugs like fentanyl, and terrorists entering our country.
“We stand in solidarity with our fellow Governor, Greg Abbott, and the State of Texas in utilizing every tool and strategy, including razor wire fences, to secure the border. We do it in part because the Biden Administration is refusing to enforce immigration laws already on the books and is illegally allowing mass parole across America of migrants who entered our country illegally.
“The authors of the U.S. Constitution made clear that in times like this, states have a right of self-defense, under Article 4, Section 4 and Article 1, Section 10, Clause 3 of the U.S. Constitution. Because the Biden Administration has abdicated its constitutional compact duties to the states, Texas has every legal justification to protect the sovereignty of our states and our nation.”

We are originalists and we understand the need for a U.S. Constitution to be obeyed and monitored by the two other branches of government. The fourth branch of government which is “the swamp,” the unelected, self-appointed outlaws need to be dissolved. Hurray for govenmors who know they are the law enforcers in each state. That is their power! Keep praying for Revival and for our Constitutional Republic.!!!

Do you question why they were there to begin with ? … They are simply … “immigrants” … to the peoples who have no respect for our nation’s constitutional laws, our national security, financial securities, ( trillions of dollars of increasing debt), and our Vets are being put in the waiting lists at the VA, so that the Illegal “invaders” can, and do, get priority services. Some of the Vets and senior citizens have actually been ejected from housing in order to make room for these so called “immigrants”… That is a fact… The illegal invaders are getting “free” housing, and other financial aids at the expense of our veterans. School sports gyms, and school buildings shut down for their “free” housing… Totally free healthcare,… paid for by American citizens who have to pay for their own healthcare. Free public, and college education.. Free airplane, and bus tickets to travel to the red states, all paid for by “us”…This isn’t addressing the later on bussing provided by the state of Texas, who ,by the way,.. is saving money by getting them out … into the Democrat “sanctuary” states.. Who are now crying about the “invasion” .. We have a constitution, which is being violated by this federal government, and in so doing, committing acts of treason.. A crime that used to be addressed with a firing squad, or gallows.. In short.. These “invaders”, to which you refer to, came as a result of this lawless federal government broadcasting .. “” Everyone,.. Come on in for freebies, and vote democrat”” .. And.. you do know that you are breaking our nation’s laws.., you do already know that the concertina wires are there.. but,, Oh.. to hell with it… I would then ask… Is your front door wide open to anyone who decides to just walk on in for some freebies.. ??? We pray for them to not undertake the perilous journey to enter our country illegally. We pray for them to keep their precious children safely at home & not send them on a journey to an uncertain future and often a terrible fate at the hands of child traffickers.
In doing so, there is a tremendous number of innocent Americans who would still be alive today.. American citizens who would not have been murdered, and/or raped by this illegal invasion. There a a lot of them now, that travel by sea, to invade through our Northern border as well… Of those millions, there have been terrorist linked individuals apprehended.. We don’t know how many evaded apprehension.. Are we now headed for another 9/11 ? .. I do hope not.

Mr. reeder, your video doesn’t show anybody being turned back, or checked in any way. Try going into Mexico and being allowed to do that. I guarantee that Mexico’s gate will not just let anybody pass by. We are the only country that is foolish enough to do this. I have a brother and dear friend living in Eagle Pass and can assure you that they have thousands of illegals that nobody knows what to do with. The residents live in fear. They tell me that there are many illegals being found dead which is not reported as nobody cares. They say the cartels rule the border. We have a friend who has a ranch near the border and he left his place temporarily and is living elsewhere as he’s in fear for his animals and family. He’s hoping that the next president may bring some respite so he can go back to his little ranch. Few people know about how many problems Texas residents as well as the illegal immigrants are incurring due to the present invasion of our border. Most illegals are not told so do not know the problems they may face until they get to the border as the cartels just want their money. The schools are jammed, and many residents are teaching their kids at home or sending them to private schools due to fear. El Paso is bad too as drugs are so rampant there. Some of my family used to go get their dental work done across the border as it was less expensive, but they stopped as they’re afraid of all the choas and crime they see. I’m told the border patrol, just the past year, grabbed 167 who were on their terrorist list. Who knows how many are here and stealthily regrouping until they are ready to strike? We don’t know what diseases are being brought into our country either as they are just allowed to come in. I don’t think anyone is against people coming to our country as long as they follow our laws, and don’t come expecting to be given a free cell phone, free health care, free food, free housing, free education and etc..etc.. that regular Americans don’t get. We can’t afford all those free bees. Our American citizens who are low income or find themselves homeless are being short changed as monies budgeted for them must now be given to all the immigrants. The latest is that now the VA, which handles our veterans health, must now provide healthcare to these illegals. What do we think will happen to our veterans who need care? Is this fair? Is this how we should treat that group of Americans who give their life that we may continue with our way of life? We just lost three soldiers in the middle east, and many more wounded. Election year or not, the fact is that what our present president is allowing at the border is uncaring and un-American. It’s a scary time, and Americans need to wake up and see the present danger to our way of life.
