In the ongoing battle against drug trafficking in Alaska, Wasilla Police Department officers assisted the Alaska State Troopers in stopping a vehicle suspected of drug trafficking on June 26.

Officers initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle, contacting the driver, Konstantinos Lambernakis, age 39 of Wasilla, and passenger, Orion Seal, age 41 of Wasilla.

Investigation revealed Seal was on conditions of release and under pretrial enforcement supervision.

Due to the combined history of both men involving illegal drugs, a K9 dog was requested, which alerted officers to the presence of illegal substances on the passenger side of the vehicle where Seal was seated. An extensive search of the vehicle uncovered approximately 450 user-doses of fentanyl, 80 doses of powdered heroin, and a significant amount of cash and gold.

Lambernakis and Seal were both charged with two counts of Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the 2nd degree. Lambernakis was also charged with two counts of Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the 4th degree, and Seal was charged with three counts of Violating Conditions of Release.

The bust is the latest in a series of law enforcement actions taken against large-scale suspected drug traffickers in Alaska.

KUDOS “BIGGLY” to Wasilla Police working closely with Alaska State Troopers in this case. Hopefully these two will be put away for a long time, maybe even “Aligator Alcatraz before given the boot out of our country. Thank God for the lives that were saved by this action.
