Wait, hardly anyone has dropped out of Alaska’s gubernatorial race. How could this be a “narrowing field”?

I am thinking of what “super voters” are pondering – those citizens who rarely or never miss a chance to vote, and who are targeted by pollsters.

Certainly, we might be influenced by others’ opinions, perhaps some commercials, by who has the most yard signs or pleasant personality.

I go by questionnaires and debates. If a candidate doesn’t answer questions, what are they afraid of? Since I can’t make all the debates, I check whether their answers (as reported) are consistent.

The so-called “debates” are rarely debates. They are press conferences where the agenda is set by overwhelmingly liberal journalists. Everyone knows that I am an overwhelmingly non-liberal one, so my questions as a journalist are different than what usually gets thrown out.

Any truly sane and reasonable person would want a strong economy, growing infrastructure, full employment, happy children, peace, love and cappuccino. But a large part of our electorate is MAD.

Few candidates realize that judicial tyranny has overthrown the state constitution.

As in Democrats. They believe the world is overpopulated, that God is non-existent or hiding, that global warming is a threat that can be controlled by impoverishing ourselves, that there are 127 (and counting) flavors of gender. They detest children and they are Marxists (read: brutal communists).

They are making sure the Alaska gas line won’t be built because, well, their agenda thinks that resource extraction is harmful to the planet, never mind jobs, people, the PFD and a balanced budget. They might come up with various explanations, but we can all read about the Green New Deal’s agenda, electric cars in -40 degrees, sterilization of children, and think for ourselves.

Truly, they are mad.

Here are some questions that the “mainstream” media would either never ask or figure no one is really very interested:

— “What are you going to do about the unconstitutional actions the federal government has done to our state’s economic development and to our personal liberties?”

— “Do you believe that all judicial decisions are binding, and must be obeyed?”

— “Do you believe our state and federal elections are honest?”

— Above all, what of – abortion?

Yes, that last question must be above all other questions, for there is no future without children. Thus, the mass extermination of the unborn is a wacky idea. As if cutting them to pieces or expelling them through bloody chemicals is somehow not affecting our minds, souls and culture. Or, that raising those who survive without a self-sacrificing father can be normal. All this ought to be the A-1, Blue-Ribbon, Class Triple A issue of the entire planet.

But it’s not. Instead, liberals believe that abortion is a hallowed and concocted “right” that should be subsidized by our socialist governments. Liberals must accuse – in their selfishness-gone-Mad – those who think otherwise of being the true “extremist” elements of society, worthy of having their churches burned, their crisis pregnancy centers vandalized, and the dwindling number of courageous candidates must be marginalized.

If a governor does act to restore proper constitutional discipline, and hopefully soon, it will not be popular in some circles.

Above all, they use the Mainstream Media – the true propaganda arm of the Democratic Party – to suppress the bloody outcomes of their handiwork, and the obvious and glaring hypocrisy of liberal sanctimony over this issue.

It’s not even an “issue” in the normal sense, not like how much to spend, where to spend it, or how to raise the money. As I said, there is no future without children. And children deserve a normal, Mom-and-Dad family. Anyone who cannot see that is part of this colossal problem.

Some so-called conservatives don’t want to talk about it and have no history of fighting it. They always, always, always blame the judiciary.

They have a point. The solutions ultimately lie outside of the government, with churches, many of which have fumbled the ball constantly, even while they often promote socialism as its cure.

But we can stop subsidizing abortion. The funding has been surrendered to the judiciary for some time now. It is utterly unconstitutional, along with RCV and Grand Jury interference.

Few candidates realize that judicial tyranny has overthrown the state constitution. They have stolen the power of the purse from the Legislature, the governor’s line-item veto power, and the Legislature’s right to override such vetoes. And all over the abortion issue!

The governor who wields Article 3, Section 16 can stop this tyranny. Once again, find it here. The emphasis is mine:

§ 16. Governor’s Authority

The governor shall be responsible for the faithful execution of the laws. He may, by appropriate court action or proceeding brought in the name of the State, enforce compliance with any constitutional or legislative mandate [as was the case where RCV defied the single-subject initiative requirement, through a judicial decision], or restrain violation of any constitutional or legislative power, duty, or right by any officer, department, or agency of the State or any of its political subdivisions. [Article 1, Sec. 22, reserves the power to define privacy TO THE LEGISLATURE, again flagrantly violated by the judiciary]. This authority shall not be construed to authorize any action or proceeding against the legislature. [Proving that judicial decisions that violate the constitution need not be enforced].

Allegedly prolife governors have had the ability all along to stop this, but previous ones have had neither the advice nor courage to do it. Think about it: even the rigged judicial council system would be reduced in its importance, once conservative governors took this section and used it to stop the numerous and continuing judicial constitutional overthrows.

And we could add the Grand Jury crisis as well!

If a governor does act to restore proper constitutional discipline, and hopefully soon, it will not be popular in some circles. They will be falsely accused of violating it themselves. There will be senseless recall efforts. The Legislature, even as the governor is trying to restore their own authority, might try impeachment. There will be fake cries from the media:

“Balance of power!”

“Three co-equal branches of government!”

“Constitutional Crisis!”

But, we already are in a “constitutional crisis” and have been since Day One of our incomplete statehood. The chance to debate and argue the issues about federal property and our own subservient acquiescence to it, through a new constitutional convention, was shot down – big time – in 2022. And it was done by the same Outside money that tells us man-made global warming is real, that RCV is a great idea and all judicial decisions must be obeyed.

There are three candidates whom I believe would stop this tyranny under which we suffer in our “partial statehood.” One is an honored and elderly stateswoman, who thinks straight and clear, worries not about a career, but about a legacy for her descendants. All conservatives should value her ideals, but she will not have a chance.

Two others stand out as firm and committed: they are Shelley Hughes and Dave Bronson. They are experienced, younger and mature, and also have terrific running mates, who will labor to restore election integrity and to fight the federal ownership of our state. They will wield Article 3, Section 16, and sail into the minefield of controversy that is sure to follow.

Whatever differences separate them as rival candidates is for each conservative to decide and cast their vote accordingly. It’s a messy field, in a messy time with messy issues, but it is beginning to be clarified.

Above all, PRAY.

You are right! Scraping the bottom of the barrel has brought us to this point with Parnell, Walker and Dunleavy! This state has been totally screwed over by these three men and their crimes against each person living within the borders of Alaska. We are still not there yet and won’t be until leadership quits thinking of what’s in their personal pockets instead of doing the job they take an oath to do. The character of the candidates will be the test when one is elected. We’ll see!

    • Dave maxwell says:

You are so right Diana! Shelly Hughes is where I don’t agree with bob bird. She is in fact Dunleavy in a skirt! That image is grotesque! Never the less, we cannot continue this madness of managing for decline!!! Shelly Hughes knows much and does nothing!

      • Ok in Anchorage says:

It’s not that grotesque -Dunleavy could totally get away with a kilt, which is what came to mind when I read “Dunleavy in a skirt.”
But Hughes does have a good position on making farmland affordable for Alaskan families, of which I approve.

      • Mike States says:

Hughes is as good of a governor candidate as I have soon in Alaska. Bronson also good. Edna? Of course she’s good, too.

  • SameSadStory says:

Shelly is NOT Dunleavy. Edna, nice lady, needs to retire. Property tax, judges, constitution. tired of the talking points. either 100% secure my dividend so I can be relieved of property tax, or abolish it and then tax sales. a people who can’t own property are a people who have not freedom or a dream. Start there or I wont buy what your selling.

    • Dave Maxwell says:

Time for you to recall how Hughes responded to Lora reinbold when she was confronting Dunleavy. Do you remember how Dunleavy persecuted Linda? Hughes who stood by Dunleavy faithfully did and said nothing! No support for the actual conservative! This is who Hughes was and is! I will never vote for a republiconman! Hughes is a rhino!

  • Tina says:

Problem with your endorsement is I doubting Likely Republican voters by majority are moving toward voting for either Hughes or Bronson to put them in the top four.
The ballot is not a normal ballot. Likely voting Republicans need to think more about Team and how it can survive best on an RCV ballot.

  • Destry Payne for Governor says:

So who is going to remove the Redcoats a.k.a. Attorneys from our offices so we can be compliant with the Title of Nobilities Act? Who is going to do a full audit of the STATE OF ALASKA and return the results to the people so we can find out who is spending and where it is going? Why do we pay $5,000 for an oil change on a state owned truck? Who will remove the oathbreakers? Who will change our boroughs to counties with county elections for sheriff, coroner, constables, and justice of the peace? Bob knows about me and hasn’t mentioned me. Wonder why? Am I too extreme for his taste? destryforakgovernor.com

    • Janice says:

Hughes was part of the group, along with D25 and other “Republicans,” that tried to publicly scalp Rep. David Eastman. Whether Mr. Eastman was in the right or wrong, what they did fueled hatred and wore down the enthusiasm about supporting the Republican party and many of the candidates endorsed by the Republican party. I will not support someone who had no shame in helping to building the political bonfire that took place.
In my book, Destry stands for our constitution and our grand jury. Bronson and DeVries are the only other two I would consider in helping Alaskans to put out this dumpster fire that our Republican party has allowed to grow uncontrollable.
