Fairbanks pro-life advocates are organizing two separate events for Oct. 2 in an effort to counter a Planned Parenthood pro-abortion march through the city streets.

First, up is a memorial for unborn babies lost through abortion. The pro-life event runs 11 a.m. to noon at the Planned Parenthood abortion clinic in Fairbanks (1867 Airport Way). Attendees are encouraged to bring roses to memorialize babies lost through abortion.

Then at 1:45 p.m., Arctic Students for Life will join forces with Interior Right to Life members to meet pro-abortion activists at the Taku Parking Lot at UAF (Across from the farmer’s loop dump). Planned Parenthood protestors have organized their abortion march to begin at the same location.

Pro-life advocates are hoping to outnumber the abortion activists in an effort to show that Fairbanks is a pro-life city.
