Ten members of the Alaska Legislature sent a letter to Gov. Mike Dunleavy, asking that he let lawmakers address the growing concern about Alaskans who are losing their jobs for refusing to get a COVID shot.
“We are deeply concerned that Alaskans are now being threatened with the loss of their livelihoods and other cherished freedoms due to COVID-19 mandates,” the two sentence letter states. “We request that you immediately expand the call of the current special legislative session so we might take up legislation to protect the personal liberties of every Alaskan.”
The letter was signed by Representatives Sarah Vance, Tom McKay, David Eastman and Christopher Kurka. Senators Mia Costello, Mike Shower, Robert Myers, Shelly Hughes, Lora Reinbold and Roger Holland also added their names.
Unless Dunleavy specifically adds health issues to the current special session, lawmakers will have to wait until next year’s regular session to address this issue. Time is of the essence, however, as thousands of Alaskans are now being terminated for declining to get the COVID jab.

In my opinion nobody should loss their job over something they don’t believe in. The vaccine is experimental and has not been approved by the FDA. This alone should be reason enough to not be forced to take the vaccine.
Governor Dunleavy, I think this is something you should add to this session and pass a ruling as to not loosing your job over not being vaccinated.

That vaccine is currently not available in the US under it’s trade name. You are also assuming that the FDA as an agency has not been completely politicized under COVID. Please provide proof that it hasn’t.
You should read the FDA letters the vaccines in production and use are still under the EUA. The approval is for a name “Cornimaty” and a vaccine not available in the United States. The FDA has done the unspeakable and double switch to confuse everyone. You need to prove that it has? We will wait while you try and put words into both letters.

We need Sullivan and Young to get involved on the federal level too. They’re beginning to mandate on the slope because they operate on federal land and they’re claiming they must abide by the federal mandate.
We all can see that Biden is pushing this insanity knowing it wouldn’t pass muster in court but he knows the courts are slow. For the love of God, if these politicians don’t do something to protect their constituents then they are utterly useless.
Requiring an employee to be vaccinated would protect constituents.
Growing a pair would be better to protect all constituents.
Not only does the experimental gene-therapy NOT prevent infection or transmission, thus failing to protect any constituent, it is dangerous to those who are being coerced to take it without informed consent. Additionally, it is the duty of elected servants to secure our liberties NOT our health.
Really the vaccine doesn’t even last 6 months before they say you need a booster. That tells you exactly what you need to know the vaccine does not work. I know people who have been vaccinated and still caught the Covid and did a lot worse then I did when I caught and have survived. You try and push a vaccine during a pandemic which Covid is from a pandemic when just about every age group has over a 99% survivability you are going to create new mutations that is basic science 101.
It would not matter if the shot was approved by the FDA or not. The FDA has gotten it wrong before. But some people seem to think that if the FDA says it – it is golden. The following is an excerpt from an article found on CNN (believe it or not):

Mind you, this was in 2017 before Covid. We all know that CNN wouldn’t do or say anything today to discredit the bureaucracy under Biden.
The point is – approvals from FDA, or the CDC, are not infallible. The government knows it, but doesn’t care. The “yes men” in the private sector don’t care. They just don’t want their purse strings to get disconnected from the government. It is telling how many of these people that are trying to force it on others do not actually get the shot themselves. Regardless of what others claim, there have been many that have suffered adverse effects from this injection, including death. I will not take the shot due to the fact that its research and development is connected to abortion. But even with that aside, knowing that there are thousands of deaths connected to receiving this “vaccine”, it is absurd to proclaim that the benefit outweighs the risk. For whom? Those who push the “vaccines” are the selfish individuals. They would be willing to sacrifice people for their own personal agenda. Let them make their choices, but they shouldn’t get to make them for the rest of us.
Dunleavy doesn’t run the office of the Governor, he has abdicated all responsibility to Dr. Zink. He’s a puppet just like China Joe.
Why isn’t Dummie Dunleavy being proactive like Guv’s Abbot, DeSantis, Noem etc?

Why are you and so many in the Alaska Legislature standing down when you should be using your leadership to protect us from unconstitutional mandates that invade out privacy? Why are you going along with this? Why don’t you declare, like the governor of Texas did, that NO covid mandates be allowed in Alaska? If people want to wear masks and get experimental jabs in their arms, ok, but, for me and tens of thousands of Alaskans who are suspicious of the whole covid scheme, please protect our rights as we choose to protect our own physical bodies.
