A public memorial service will be held for Rep. Don Young who died at the age of 88 on March 18.

The service will take place Saturday, April 2, at Anchorage Baptist Temple in Anchorage. The service begins at 11 a.m.

The event will memorialize Young’s life and legacy, and is open to members of the general public who wish to honor Young.

In lieu of flowers, Congressman Young’s family requests donations for the following charities. Both are 501(c)3 organizations and donations are tax deductible.
