Each week, Alaskan mothers give birth to more than 180 babies, beginning a lifelong mission to raise, care and love the souls entrusted to them. Thank you for the time, energy, love and a mother’s unique touch you pour into our lives.

It is fitting that Mother’s Day is one of the most observed and revered cultural events of the year, for moms are intimately connected to their children, both in body and soul.

To all who have generously extended themselves in providing education, countless meals, comforting embraces, home healthcare and the innumerable other fundamental needs, you are treasured beyond measure, and irreplaceable.
