The grassroots effort to repeal Alaska’s ranked-choice voting system is off and running. Alaskans for Honest Elections is spearheading the effort with signing events all across the state, including last week’s kick-off event in Anchorage where more than 400 people turned out.

The current goal is to gather far more than the needed 26,000 signatures to put the question to voters in 2024. If you want to see the state restore party primaries and its traditional, historic voting system, here are the upcoming signature gathering events. To learn more, click here.
