“Censorship! Fascism! You can’t arrest us! We have rights!”

Such slogans have now become commonplace. A group of college Republicans or pro-lifers obtain a permit to display either bland images of crosses, with a sign that says, “Each cross represents a million aborted babies,” or the more graphic images that show abortion’s ugly truth.

Predictably, the academic Left goes bonkers, often with goading from their professors. Thus, the screechings of the Left have departed the mean streets of the cities to infiltrate the halls of college campuses, lawmakers and capitals. There is no act of violence they perform that is not endorsed, either by silence or open excuses, by the fake media and pseudo-academic pundits. It has become the Left’s first line of attack, undisguised and without apology, and with the cool certitude that their behavior will result in no consequences.

God created the spiritual and temporal realms with a hierarchy. This is obvious in our world, with higher and lower forms of animal life. It is true not only for the angels but also the demons, for after their fall, their divine gifts of intellect became deformed. The harpies that possess the poor rioters we see on the news are the mere vanguards of the far more dangerous and sophisticated intelligence of the more powerful demons.

Two thousand years ago, the Bible pointed out how once biological and natural law are flaunted, there necessarily follows an endless stream of deepening madness.

The Left’s derangement is on full display, but only if you look to alternative media. More thoughtful liberals, who don’t like it, have kept silent – likely because their support group would soon ostracize them. Naomi Wolf, Robert Kennedy and Bill Maher knew this ahead of time, yet nevertheless decided to step out, not disowning their basic liberal premises but merely the methods, the lack of civility and the open hypocrisy. After all, how can anyone other than a madman scream against censorship when they themselves impose it on others? Or demand their rights, but deny them to others?

Two thousand years ago, the Bible pointed out how once biological and natural law are flaunted, there necessarily follows an endless stream of deepening madness. Thus, evil becomes good, truth is fluid, foolishness becomes wisdom.

Paul’s letter to the Romans has become an unwelcome part of Christian sacred scripture. He does not deal with specifics, but in generalities. This indicates that he did not need to pinpoint incidents, people or locations, because it was self-evident, as it is in our own time. After 2,000 years, it is a bull’s eye commentary of contemporary culture. Human nature, and depravity, never change.

Interestingly, Romans Chapter 1 never appears in Catholic Mass missalettes anymore, nor is it heard from many pulpits. Protestants ministers fear a walk-out of congregants, and in Canada or Sweden they might be arrested. Catholic priests face discipline from their faithless and cowardly bishops.

Therefore, God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth about God for a lie…

I, however, will give Paul his say here, but if you doubt its vehemence, you can go look it up in your own Bible.

I am obligated both to Greeks and non-Greeks, both to the wise and the foolish. That is why I am so eager to preach the gospel also to you who are in Rome.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”

The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities — his eternal power and divine nature — have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles.

Therefore, God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator — who is forever praised. Amen.

Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.

Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy. Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.

Now that Christianity is being outlawed, will there be sufficient evidence to convict you?

  • Chuck Anziulewicz says:

Where is Christianity being “outlawed?” Certainly not in the United States. Freedom to worship is protected under the First Amendment.

  • Mary says:

Christianity is not outlawed in the U.S. as it is in many, many countries, but, persecution of Christians in the U S. has been taking place for many decades.

    • Chuck Anziulewicz says:

Persecution of Christians. Persecution of Mluslims. Persecution of Jews. Give some examples of how anyone’s First Amendment freedom to worship has been infringed upon.

      • Bob Bird says:

Ummm … the Nashville mass murders, as well as the Louisville incident. The woke law enforcement does NOT want to publish their manifestos. We have had glimpses. Check to see how many Christians have been persecuted by the Biden AG: Mark Houck in Philly, Paul Vaughn in Tennessee, St. Andrews Catholic Church in Eagle River (twice), Ammo Can Coffee in Soldotna, pregnancy center in Anchorage. Madison Wis pregnancy center firebombed. Canadian evangelical pastor arrested on Good Friday, and on freeway after further defiance of the anti-Christian decree that forbade further violations, Christians hounded out of the military for refusing the vax on religious grounds. From Trudeau, who signed a bill in Canada: Justin Trudeau said, “As of today, it’s official: Conversion therapy is banned in Canada. Our government’s legislation has come into force — which means it is now illegal to promote, advertise, benefit from, or subject someone to this hateful and harmful practice. LGBTQ2 rights are human rights.” I guess maybe you have been overseas and missed this. To even ask the question makes one wonder if you are a troll.

      • Chuck Anziulewicz says:

Most Americans are Christian. Virtually all religious programming on TV and radio in the United States is Christian-oriented. And the ONLY religious holiday that causes both the private and public sectors to grind to a halt is a Christian holiday. If anything, Christians in the United States have historically been given preferential treatment. So don’t tell me you’re being “persecuted.” Even in the cases you cite, it has nothing to do the personal practice of one’s faith.

      • Bob Bird says:

Chuck is an NPR troll from West Virginia. A perfect example of someone who scans conservative and traditional-values websites to throw in monkey wrenches against the Truth. He is not worth the time to use facts and logic.

      • Reggie Taylor says:

“……….And the ONLY religious holiday that causes both the private and public sectors to grind to a halt is a Christian holiday………”
Could you possibly be referring to the commercial holiday known as CHRISTmas? If they could somehow convert that to a Gaia celebration of Earth worship while simultaneously maintaining the unholy commercial orgy that they have already converted the religious holiday into, are you suggesting they wouldn’t do it?

    • Jean says:

Saying that American Christians are being persecuted is an insult to the many millions of people around the world who are truly experiencing religious persecution: Uighur Muslims, Christians and Tibetan Buddhists in China, Bahai in Iran, and many, many more. No one in America is being arrested and sent to a labor camp for going to church. Legal marriage for homosexual couples does not equal religious persecution of Christians. When you get arrested for going to church, let me know and I will be there to fight for your right to believe whatever version of Christianity you choose.

    • Lobo says:

Mary, you are wasting your time on Charles the troll.

  • Kasey says:

People hate God…it’s not that they don’t believe. Therefore, they attempt to “blot out His image” Goodness, the family relationship, the marriage relationship”, statues and images of Christ and of crosses and displays of nativity and the 10 Commandments, all of which remind them of the God they hate. The very God who loves them and died for them, so offer them MERCY. But we can see the chaos it creates when societies fall apart when they go against how they were meant to work, by the God who designed it. Christians are calling people to repent/turn away from their sin and thus avoid God’s coming judgement. Ya know, God’s been patient for a very long time. He lives to forgive. And not only forgive, but to set you free from the shackles of the power of sin to live in eternity with Him. In the Bible God says He doesn’t want ANYONE to perish (in Hell) but that you would turn to Him and live. He says: “My hand is outstretched, STILL”

    • Lucinda says:

Nonsense. Christian hyperbole. Why would you say people hate god? I’m an atheist but I don’t hate god. How can I hate something that I don’t believe to exist? So who is hating god? Are Christians hating god because of a particular misfortune?

      • Reggie Taylor says:

“……..I’m an atheist but I don’t hate god. How can I hate something that I don’t believe to exist?…….”
If I had a nickel for every time I read that atheist wisdom, I’d buy Bill Gates. The answer is; you hate God because others know Him and you do not. And no, I do not expect you to understand, because the only way you will is if you seek Him, and you aren’t likely to do so, because you believe that you are god. Yes, it is circular. It all revolves around Him………not you.

  • Lucinda says:

Using christian scripture to determine public policy is wrong.

    • Lobo says:

Only if you are a leftist democrat, a socialist, a communist, and/or an atheist.

    • Chuck Anziulewicz says:

Your argument is with the Constitution, Lobo. No one religious may take precedence over others in the formulation of public policy, thanks to the Establishment Clause.

    • DaveMaxwell says:

Actually it’s the impetus for the founding of this country! And by tearing away at the judeo/Christian roots, you are destroying your own God given attributes like freedom! Please move to a more appropriate place where a dictator rules with a self serving iron fist and enjoy enslavement and scratching the earth looking for bugs to eat!

    • Justin Michesloff says:

The Bible in this godless world no longer defines public policy, that is the point made nearly 2000 years ago that so fully and clearly defines the world we live in today, and why Mr. Bird chose to quote it verbatim. To flaunt human misbehavior in the face of God though is not wise and has a bad history of absolute failure. All of us need this reminder. As for you trolls on this conservative site, you are the ones who should carefully consider your thoughts, words, and actions. It is never smart to use something for which it was not designed. Paul made that very clear.

  • Neil A DeWitt says:

It’s been my experience as those that back the hatred of GOD are the first ones to deny that they hate GOD and question who, where and say your full of it. Then go on to say nobody hates GOD while all the time in both their words and actions. hate GOD. GID sees this and they will pay his price when they fie and go to he’ll. that’s when the pleas will be heard the loudest, I fidnt say that or do that. We all make our bed of life and we all will answer for it in the end..

    • Lucinda says:

Your argument, Friend, sounds like this: if I say I don’t believe in satan, a christian would claim that that is just what satan would have me say.

How about this: do you hate Muslims that live on Venus?

  • Bob Bird says:

Mr. Anziulewicz is indeed a Leftist troll of the worst type: he is an out-of-state NPR announcer who scans conservative websites in order to throw a monkey wrench into the conversation. Living in West Virginia must be hard on any liberal. Almost every knoll along the roadside has a configuration of 3 crosses to remind the driver of the cost of their salvation. His outlook is, therefore, pseudo-intellectual and quite provincial.

  • Reggie Taylor says:

Excellent review, Bob. Thank you for that, and may God bless you and yours for your continued courage to testify to truth.

  • Reggie Taylor says:

Using Christian values to guide public policy is wisdom and healing. Determining public policy in opposition to Christian values is folly and suicide.

    • Lucinda says:

That’s both unconstitutional and not supported by evidence. The christian religion teaches that a woman can get pregnant WITHOUT intercourse! That’s not wise. Teaches that the dead can live again. That is, at best, folly. The Bible promotes magical thinking at the expense of evidence reason and the scientific method.

      • Reggie Taylor says:

Christian values guiding public policy is no more unconstitutional than pseudo-scientism guiding policy, but a whole bunch wiser. The Constitution forbids a state religion, not religion, and that includes Gaiaism. And, oh by the way, google up “pregnancy without sex”, Ms. Science. Apparently you need to go back to Elementary Science in order to better understand your own religion. You might also review “near death” (which should actually be called “post death”, as “near death” is actually a different experience).

  • Ed Barno says:

Well put Bob… How will these pitiful naysayers reply to the Just Judge when they stand in front of His throne?

    • Lucinda says:

Ed I’m an atheist but over my lifetime I have given more to the world than taken. I have integrity. I am honest. I am generous and positive. Would your god commit me to hell? If at heaven’s gate I see the evidence of god, would this loving god still torture me?

I’m not trying to piss you off or troll for an outburst; I’d very much like to know your thoughts.

      • DaveMaxwell says:

If you believe your generosity, honesty, and positivity is all you need to deserve eternity in the presence of a Holy God, your thinking maybe a bit biased!

      • Aunt Sally says:

Didn’t you recently post some garbage indicating you don’t work because you can make more money mooching off of taxpayers or was that another subversive parasite, Pablo?

      • Ed Barno says:

Hope you got my reply Lucinda. I will not present an outburst to you, but appreciated your request to know my thoughts. Hope my reply was helpful.

      • Reggie Taylor says:

“…….Would your god commit me to hell?……..”
Hell is a state of existence, not an address. It is the permanent self-exclusion from God and the Blessed that one chooses for oneself through rejection of God. If you reject God right now, you are at the gates of Hell right now, and the only additional step needed for permanence is the death of the body.
Are you enjoying your state of existence right now? Or do you burn with rejection?

  • Lucinda says:

Ed. I don’t see your reply

  • Lucinda says:

Reggie Taylor: I don’t hate your god anymore than I hate mermaids on Jupiter.

I certainly do not admire those who “know Him”. In fact, I pity those who claim the relationship. I pity them because they live in two diametrically incompatible life strategies at the same time: believing and acting upon evidence, reason and the scientific method for 99% of their day but then abandoning that strategy for myths, ghosts and the supernatural. Seems impossible to me.

I also pity them for the weakness of critical thinking, the lazy acceptance of comforting and cool stories despite the impossibilities (like a virgin birth) and the silliness (like a woman made of salt).

And to one of your points: I HAVE sought “Him”. No response.

And to another of your points: why would you think I believe that I am god? That makes no sense to me.

  • Reggie Taylor says:

“………Seems impossible to me……….I HAVE sought “Him”. No response………”
And thus you have, with your own words, explained your dilemma. So you are destined to wander through time in pseudo-scientism claiming supremacy while believing an evolving understanding of God’s creation, and in complete rejection of God Himself.
Good Luck on your journey, because luck is your destiny.

    • Lucinda says:

Your response doesn’t make sense to me.

      • Reggie Taylor says:

Of course it doesn’t. In order for it to register you’d have to rise above the ideologies you’ve attached yourself to, and you refuse to even entertain the possibility. This is what scripture describes as a hardened heart.

  • Adrian Combe says:

“Interestingly, Romans Chapter 1 never appears in Catholic Mass missalettes anymore…”

This assertion, made rather vaguely, is incorrect. The bulk of the passage you cited is read at weekday Mass, Tuesday, the 28th Sunday of Ordinary Time, every other year.

  • Lucinda says:

Reggie. No I meant that your grammar and skill at expression doesn’t make sense to me. And let me say it again, I have sought your god and no response. And why? Because there is no one home in your heaven. And what do you mean that I am an adherent of”pseudoscience “? The real proponents of pseudoscience are, for example, the Young Earth Creationists that scour the earth for evidence of the great flood. Finding, none, propose outlandish “scientific “ explanations. It’s humorous and fun to tag along on their arguments. But it becomes dangerous to society when silly Christian mythology leaks into the decision making skills of our public officials. Imagine a public health official advancing policy based on the idea of the dead becoming alive again. Absurd!

    • Reggie Taylor says:

“………Imagine a public health official advancing policy based on the idea of the dead becoming alive again. Absurd!”
Imagine government advancing policy throughout the spectrum of human life based upon an extreme religion of environmental scientism? Actually, you don’t need to imagine it. Look around you. You worship and serve created things rather than the Creator. “Mother Nature”. You are at ideological war with God’s creation itself, claiming authority to change climate change. And everybody has to obey your fantasies. Gaiaists are tremendously more dangerous than Christians, but God can and will repair any and all damage you create.

  • Steve P Peterson says:

Chuck and Lucinda want you to come out and play. Lucinda even feigns an interest in dialog, but really, their main goal is to troll. That is their chief purpose in life and you make that purpose a reality when you “play” with them. Don’t give them the time of day. They are hard core leftists under the influence of the Prince of Darkness (whether they know it or not). They may even be one in the same person.
Ever wonder why leftists love to troll conservative sites, but most conservatives could care less about leftist sites?
